Let's face it. I wanted the N8 for it's camera and OVI Maps. Everything else lose out to iPhone and Andriod, namely, scrolling smoothness, speed and ease of use. These are facts.
Yes. All of us admit it. Its no argument here. Speed, ease of use, iOS and Android pwns N8 kaw2. (Although I'm not very agreeing with the smooth part. I do felt that my N8 and E6 zooms past my Galaxy Tab in smoothness, although the tab makes up with its function)Still, I dont consider my N8 to be that ancient to the realm of unuseable. Yes. the browser is crap. I can attest to that, but Opera Mobile is very2 good. Yes, its no eye candy, but for me, and some of us, its form over function. As long as its working for some, doesnt mean others should shove the fact that its already outdated etc2. I still happily using my outdated Sony Clie and N810, does being ancient ruled out their functions? Their usage?
And my N8 aint ancient, as long as its being supported by the manufacturer.
To each and their own IMHO.
Ps: After weeks of using Galaxy Tab, I still dont know all the hype behind Android TBH. Its really functional, really great app wise, but still, I felt that its just a glorified Symbian.
Hey, just my 2c

Considering its 3gen behind CPU, it sure can do a lot! Using some of the logics here, my outdated, ancient, Fujitsu Livebook P Series running Transmeta Crusoe CPU at 800mhz should be dead by now. The last time I've checked, nope, its still chugging along nicely, with its outdated WinXP SP1. I can still do my works there. But wait, its already ancient rite? Outdated plus more!
