QUOTE(Viber @ Jul 26 2011, 05:11 PM) However, This post has been edited by sugen: Jul 27 2011, 08:57 AMPlease note that we recommend our users to actually leave Viber open at all times. If you use Viber relatively frequently, then it's actually not such a good idea to rely on Push Notifications because of 2 main reasons: 1. Push Notifications actually use battery life also, sometimes even more than Viber idling in the background. 2. Relying on Push Notifications can damage Viber's functionality (there are sometimes problems with them due to issues with Apple). That's why we recommend to leave Viber open, but the decision is yours of course. |

Roger. And no way for it to be installed on ipad2 wifi too
QUOTE(Viber @ Jul 27 2011, 06:40 PM) Viber is located in Cyprus, with representation in the United States also. 1 Viber number can only be assigned to 1 device simultaneously. This means that in order to register Viber on your iPad, you'll need some other number to register with (an old cell number, family's, friend's, home number, etc.) This way you'll have 2 different numbers for 2 different Viber accounts. |

Really? Great!! Will try on my ipad 2 tonight.. But... I only have 1 regular cellphone number that is already being activated with Viber on my iphone4.. So, do u mean i need to have another cellphone number??
QUOTE(Viber @ Jul 28 2011, 03:36 PM) Yes, it can. This post has been edited by sugen: Jul 28 2011, 03:47 PMInstructions: 1. connect to WiFi from your iPad/iPod. 2. download and install Viber app. when asked for your number, enter your regular cellphone's number, then confirm. 3. an SMS message with the code will be sent to your regular cellular phone. 4. take that code and use it in your iPad/iPod. Viber will then be activated, and you're good to go. * this means that if anyone dials your number on Viber, you will get the call on your iPad/iPod. |

Any idea why some devices like Android base HTC Wildfire can't support Viber? |

how about IDevices?
QUOTE(Viber @ Aug 1 2011, 08:57 PM) A new version of Viber for Android has just been released: 2.0.1 What's new? - "Exit" button. Note that shutting Viber off may result in unavailability to receive calls and texts. - Important features, such as Proximity Sensor, are now enabled by default. - Viber-contacts identification mechanism was improved. - Many other bug fixes. Please find the new version in Market. We'd love to hear your feedback! |

Viber for Android sure got lots of question one. Because, Android itself is open source and build into thousand of different hardware spec.. There are some issue on hardware compatibility.. Idevice is different, you only got ipad, iphone, ipod.. That is all !
