my panasonic aircon in my office the same issue as well, when i first turn it on in the morning, it can run for a few hours until it auto shutoff. When i turn it back on, the air coming out is hot, and turns off about 30m-1hr later.

My facilities guy said its the compressor unit overheating due to the capacitor failure. That's why the air coming out after that is hot.

Nothing wrong with the RC off timer.

having this problem now. yellow light blinking 3xtimes

when i set the temp from 20 to 25.. it will stop the compressor and start blinking

but when set the temp from 38 to 30.. its running fine

i suspect the sensor.. called the service contractor and he said to replace the sensor have to wait at least 1 month for the spare part

Maybe it is due to evaporator coil temperature sensor problem. Try to shake the sensor to see if it helps. If not, then need to replace the sensor.

I jz call technician to clean my York aircon n refill gas.
After 3 weeks,it start to blink in orange colour for 3x times, den turn off after 30mins usage.

So I call up the technician again,he say it's not sensor problem,Bcoz if sensor problem, compressor will not working. It may due to compressor overheat or capacitor problem.
Wat he do is put a wet cloth on the compressor to lower the heat n change the capacitor from 30uf to 35uf.
This time the Aircond did not turn off for 1 hour.

Now he wan to charge me rm130 for the capacitor replacement. Actually the capacitor only cost rm30,he told me that another rm100 is the transport n installation fee.

Then I buy the same capacitor in jln pasar n diy.

At the end,it still blink like b4 😭...
So it's compressor overheat issue,if change compressor, cost rm500-600... Which mean hv to buy new aircon...

Any1 meet the same issue n problem solved?

Just had this problem just now. check the compresor, if the pipe does'nt cold, the sensor maybe at fault. Resolve this by shut down the power for 10 minutes, and start it again. Make sure the green light is on. No more orange light blinking.
