Ideos X without rooting and flashing, still a good use?

Yup. In fact, i prefer Original rom...battery can stand longer...i wonder why

Depends on what you want actually. Its like buying a car and whether you want to add on accessories like bigger rims, stereo, tinting and etc...

yes..i own ideos x5..and not rooting..cos i think if enough to do what i like..games,sufring bla bla bla..worth phone..enufff said

It's so easy to root and flash custom Rom on the x5, there is no need to use stock Rom

Do you guys know any good casing for ideos x 5? sometimes my phone fall on the floor...would the protection be good enough?

Ideos has better resolution than ace, meaning better web surfing experience?

and having flash, is the advantage over ace right? btw, having flash meaning?

may i know how long the phone battery can last if :

1. play game like asphalt / other racing game?
2. play video ?
3. normal usage (5-10 minutes call, <10 sms, < 1 hour wifi browsing)

4. i heard lots of complain about phone signal from china/taiwan user, how is the phone signal performance in malaysia ?
5. screen protector, casing available ? (cos this phone is not that popular in malaysia...)

considering between samsung ace and this one... but more prefer this one, spec better, outlook better (to me)...

for normal usage, ori ROM is more than enough.. u can play games, watch movie, surf net, etc..
one of the benefit of rooting n flashing is when u need more power, as in overclock the cpu/etc...
