I have the same problem on my other phone. The earphone is not compatible. The answering mode for iphone/ipod is different from some devices out there. Hence, you only have full listening experience when mic is pressed on devices other than ipod.

Try use a normal earphone without mic and everything will work or get a compatible earphone with mic.
*
Aww that's sad. sad.gif

Yeah now I actually remembered about compatibility.

Thanks for the info! smile.gif

my default is GSM only.. but how come i still can connect as 3g?  hmm.gif
*
Eh? I'm not sure though. But that's how it's supposed to be. When you choose GSM only, it'll only be 2G network. Mine's GSM only and it connects to 2G network only, never changed to 3G unless I choose to run as 3G, then it'll run 3G.. hmm.gif

I flash 2 times and failed. Mine specifically directing the exact rom you have downloaded.
The rom I download was a 110MB and when flash, it was two quick. Did download 2 times from different notebook but still the same.
Unable to boot after that.
*
Have you updated your recovery to 4.0.0.5? You should update your recovery to 4.0.0.5. Someone tried to flash the rom without updating/installing the latest recovery and he have the same symptom like you a.k.a flashes too quick.

Done that and custom rom uploaded done. Happy. More cleaner rom and seems stable.
Customizing it again now. X5 is nice to test and play around phone. Very happy I have this phone.
*
Good to know you got it! rclxms.gif

Yep, so far it's stable and better than the custom B160.

No issues at all for now! smile.gif

How to you know that u already flash new ROM.

Well. I did try to flash the NEW B137-R3 several time, I don't know weather I success flash to B137 or not. I did check the BUILD No change to MoDaCo Custom ROM U8800 r3 & Version is CUSTC38D001.

I did wat U guy say, upgrade the ClockWorkMode to 4.0.0.5 version, then choose update from SD Card, but process aborted. I did try few time, also same. I need to choose install .zip from SD card then can success. After success install it, I check my phone & xtra 2 NEW app - Car Home & Spare Parts. 1 more thing, be4 I flash, when in idle mode (black screen), only need to press the volume button then can wake the phone, but after I flash, only can press the Power button if U need to wake the phone.

So, have I success flash to B137?
*
Yes, the Car Home and Spare Parts is the app coming with the B137 install.

That means, you've successfully installed custom B137 rclxms.gif

OoOooo...U also install this NEW ROM?
Thanks guy.
*
Yeah I installed it already actually tongue.gif

For the wake up key, I think he actually edited the build.prop for it. You could change it back to the volume key if you want.

Go to your build.prop and find this line:

ro.config.hwfeature_wakeupkey=0

change the 0 to 1.

does the camera use in this rom?? any link to flash this rom?
now using B160 rom
*
Everything works fine in this ROM. It basically removes other apps then the basic ones. So it's very clean at the start smile.gif

This is the link. You can see the changelog and features in it smile.gif

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1147103

Edit: Btw, if I'm setting it to performance 1.5ghz, I got a score of 2463 in quadrant.

hi, i read the post, the instruction there say wipe before and after the installation. did u do that?
and also wan to ask, is it the latest file that i DL from the dl link that provided in the post u posted?
*
There's nothing wrong with the ROM. Everything works fine such as camera, wifi, hotspot. Not even a single problem.

The only thing is that, at the start, you will only have a few "basic" app.

It basically is a veryyy clean install. Hehe.

Yep, the link provided in the post which is void. #cygnus is the latest.

I flashed to the ROM as usual.

- Copy to root of SD Card.
- Boot in CWM
- Wipe dalvik cache
- Wipe data
- install zip
- reboot

btw.. how to turn of the shutter sound for the camera? thanks.
*
To turn off Camera shutter sound, you need to be rooted first. Then install Root Explorer.

Go to /system/media/audio/ui/ and rename camera_click.ogg to camera_click.ogg.bak (if you can't rename it, make sure to set it as RW first)

Then, there won't be any shutter sound smile.gif

nice~~~will do it tonight. how long it take to reboot after flash the rom??
cos last time i flsh to B160, i let it reboot whole night ==
morning just remove battery and power on. haha
*
It reboots a bit longer then normal reboot after I flashed the ROM since it is the "first" boot. But after that, it's like normal. Not sure why you have a long boot though. Never happened to me before. tongue.gif

hmm.gif  I can off the camera "click" sound by adjusting the vol - button  thumbup.gif You guys one cannot?
*
Haha. That one sure can. But it'll be a hassle to turn off the volume first before taking photo. Then turn the volume back on.

The way I posted is permanently disable the camera shutter sound tongue.gif

B160 rom and set on 1.2ghz max 800 min.
tonight will flash to void.cyrus(<--still 4get the name...haha)^^
*
I'd suggest you to set max 1.2ghz and min 245mhz.

No wonder your battery drains a lot since you set it minimum a bit high too. Should use a lower frequency to save battery.

it's void. #cygnus tongue.gif haha

hmm.gif

Maybe try to pull out your battery and put it back in. (Maybe you tried this before.)

If not, after you put in the battery, try to boot it in CWM again and reflash it.

You can try to restore backup though.

But I think the problem is your CWM. Should've been updated earlier. But as waseken2 said, update your CWM first then reflash.
