Well Zeng, as I know it is fun goin round government agencies with this number plate. No questions asked as d guards or patrol officers are 2 confused bout d number plate. Managed to slip through d guardhouse for last 2 events n got VVIP parking whn in my mentor's car using G1M number plate. LOLZ!!!

Did any1 of u face issue with your fan belt tensioner bearing? Mine is making noise after just 8000km. Any suggestions as I have gone to d SC but they just service it only. Do they change or just take out and sand paper it only (as wat i observe at d SC). They SC told me that this part is not listed for them to change. They can only try their best to service it.
The mechanic is even better...told me that d noise is normal as there is high content of silicon in the belt.
Really need some advice from you experts here.

Which SC u went to?

I m not sure bout it. i did go thr to inquire. D person in charge told me to come back to do my 10k service thr n they would auto change it for me. He told me tat it is quite common. Thn went back to d SC i bought my car from and d "clever" ppl there told me tat it is common but proton does not allow to change parts. ONLY SERVICE. WTF!!!
Is there anyway for me to complain to proton bout an SC service performance? This is not d first time they pissed me off.

Anyway, will try other SC to c if it is d same.

Only go thr after yr warranty period as they are "SUPER GOOD" at servicing and repairing old/malfunctioned parts. No change of parts under warranty. (faced it with my window rubber and also d fan belt auto tentioner) I dun know whether this concept applies for parts after warranty or not? (they may ask to change for after warranty parts)
Another thing is they dun care much bout yr bodykits. They would just simply jack up yr car. Faced it twice that i had to tell them to reposition as they hav jack d car up n caused my bodykit a bit distort.
VERY VERY sloopy handywork from most of d ppl thr. Dun know how to troubleshoot properly n need 2 b supervised or yr car may end up with unknown additional issues. "JOB WELL DONE"

Who told u hav to wait 2 weeks for police report. U nd to wait 2 weeks is for the insurance company paperwork. The police report u can actually obtain it the very next day. The last time i claim by myself the flow is: -
1. Police report (nxt day) - obtain from police station. Nd to pay some fee. Kenot remember.
2. Pass to workshop, wait for estimator, bla bla bla paperwork. (2 weeks d fastest approval)
3. few days to fix d car and paint.

Go to malfreemaps n download d latest maps for papago. Mine is working lk a charm. Did d same for my fren. Still works lk a charm. Gif it a try. Lokatoo SUCKS!!! Simple place lk midvalley also kenot find. Cacat 1.

as i know, d last time whn they launch the new mitsubitshi patrol cars, all of them were specially tuned evo X cars. D officers driving d cars were sent for special training as the electronics in the cars were too complicated. LOLZ!!!

yep...i m also considering of using ELF. I used to use it on my old iswara. Very nice performance. But i m not sure on d new cars. I checked on d owner's manual. From there they indicated that any lubricant better then 20W40 is to be used. Any lesser than indicated may void warranty. Very subjective statement. So i m not sure by the meaning of void warranty. I even went to a few SC to ask. They say that if we use our own lube thn if there is anything wrong with our engine proton has d final say whether it is caused by the lube oil. WTF? that is not wat is indicated in d owner's manual. Any1 can shed any light on this?

did d myvi mod d tyres with sports rim? If so, d handling is much better n if d person dare to take corners, d car is able to withstand. Basically, taking corners is more of a skill rather than d car performance itself. Don't u agree?

Yo Sam,

try n c whether d sound coming from the belt auto tensioner bearing. Cause I had some "tak tak tak" sound coming from my engine bay d last time. D sound was actually coming from the bearing. Not sure bout yr situation...but it's worth a try if it does not affect the performance n fuel.

Mine was quite easy as thr is a wheezing sound coming from it when the air cond. compressor kicks in. If u hav d similar issue then u can ask thm to chk on that. If not it's kind of hard unless u know d mechanic at the SC. Mine was actually diagnosed in SS14 SC and changed only at Glenmarie SC. Vry messy procedure for me.
