yet another leaf is turned in our history.au revoir scholes.
as the men before him, there will be NO replcaments.but there will be new men to etch their name on that 18 number and forge new heights. but im part happy bcoz he will be staying on with us, yet another great is going to share his knowledge to our youths. |

QUOTE(legendofhafiz @ May 31 2011, 07:10 PM) we can buy as many players to fill the void but it will be never enough to replace. there is no such thing as "replace" in our books.what we have is legends being born after their preprocessors leave their legacy.I can see we buy a player and there will be alteration to the strategy. I cried for real yo well thats 3 now retired, 1 released.so the race is on to find new men to fill the gap of having 4 players down on that 25-28 squad. |

QUOTE(legendofhafiz @ May 31 2011, 07:17 PM) i guess this is what the gaffer meant eyeing 3 siginings since he is loosing 4 players. well we rarely give away our siginings name, but i bet some one has already been in contact and the plan has put in motin way back then.lets wait and see who walks down that door. |

QUOTE(legendofhafiz @ May 31 2011, 07:28 PM) i can see one proven BPL player , one big name and one underrated/decent player eh? ntah la who knows.he may opt for english, or the so called big name or ultimately pull something he does best... signing some one no one expected or heard.I applaud Scholes decision to retire because the timing is right. United needs a bit alteration and changes forgot to add one more, we may as well promote within too.cleverly coming back, gibbo is ok at times and who knows with spaces freed up he may start taking every thing seriously and develop his game. a lot of options but no one besides the gaffer knows the plan. QUOTE(tzxsean @ Jun 1 2011, 06:18 PM) it might seem like it but diouf and welbeck is certainly ahead of kiko me thinks.both men were in the thick of action where we play our trade i.e the epl.given the chance all 3 men could start knocking some doors and give the gaffer selection dilemma.they way i see it, its among the 3 who can adapt and change the quickest as we already have 3 regulars forwards, so 1 slot left.meaning the other 2 might be shifted to other positions in our formation.as for owen he is the back up may look like not much relevance but a good line if were hit by injuries/suspension and a cheap one at that. |

QUOTE(nshady @ Jun 3 2011, 03:26 PM) I don't wanna think about barca game anymore. But seriously, we could have done better. Our midfield and tactics just failed against them. if they were there, they have less rest mang.good thing they are not.still plenty of time for them to do their nation proud.with chicha still on duty i presume he will be rested earlier season maybe a mid sept return.right away a chance for the other forwards we have to partner rooney. 2 months summer holiday for the players now, but you still can watch chicarito in action for mexico in concacaf gold cup. And there's u-21 european championship coming soon, cleverley and welbeck should be in england u-21....macheda for u-21 italy too i think. |

QUOTE(kurtkantoi @ Jun 4 2011, 04:22 PM) We are still looking Keano replacement so a defensive midfield is a must. Carrick failed to impress after the very 1st season he in manutd. However his loyalty grant him 5 years contract!! and we all thought loyalty alone is enough for a contract...sheehs.good thing saf is the manager kohkoh anyhow gonna be a slow june at the most.with almost every footy player in europe is out on the break i doubt any contract talks for new home will take place soon. |
