Added on May 29, 2011, 7:15 am QUOTE(andrekua @ May 29 2011, 06:25 AM) It's not an easy feat doing it season in season out. Yeah! They should have went all out!Anyway, trying too hard to stop the opponent but failing to do so will result in a shock and chaotic teamwork. MU is capable of going all out against Barcelona. The first few minutes proved it. Not sure why they wanna duck back and wait for Barcelona to attack. Counter attack? Sometimes the best defense is attack. anyway, Ryan Giggs earn my respect.. a true living legend.
he is really good, what an assist to Wayne Rooney. ... i think Ryan Giggs can play for another season in Manchester United FC athough he is now 37 years old. |

Still depressed with the result. We got owned badly by their midfield. Man Utd are really lacking in the midfield department and today's game made it that much more obvious.
What frustrates me the most is my retarded friend. He acts like a big Barca fan when only last year he was supporting Inter, Man Utd and Chelsea the years before that. Had to really control myself from punching his face when he was talking smack after the final whistle. |

NOTE: DON'T FEED THE TROLL
congrats to Barca...fully deserved to be crowned champions of Europe no two ways about that one word to summarise our boys' performance: dissapointed started off bloody well but then dropped off after the 10 min mark. I don't think we were awful, it was Barca who was way on top with their dominance in midfield (again) maybe tactically it was wrong to play 4-4-1-1 but who am I to question SAF's decision but the boys gave them way too much space to boss around. Hardly anyone closed down Xavi, Iniesta and especially that kid Messi when they had the ball. Too much respect? Perhaps so and after so much talk about being focused and compact at the back, our defence killed us. Midfield completely out gunned, Rooney not as good as he could be in the hole, and pity Hernandez who done really nothing much apart from a few touches here and there... all in all a good year for us...could have been so much better if we have gone out with a bang. Thank you VDS for everything - hard to be replaced and will always have a special place in Man Utd's history another summer to lick the wounds, and wait for the transfer muppetry! maybe, just maybe if we meet Barca in the UCL final next season, it'll be third time lucky? BELIEVE |

QUOTE(kikurazz @ May 29 2011, 09:16 AM) NOTE: DON'T FEED THE TROLL Personally i think next year Real will show the biggest improvement, and JM in full control. BELIEVE The English game on the other hand, totally wide open. MU change of guard, and all other top rivals going through some transition of manager or tactics. Next year the most unpredictable yet. |

Barca is really running away with it...
for the sake of football competetiveness, the worlds biggest club better pool among each other to praise Messi, Iniesta, Xavi from this club... |

its always sucks to be on the losing end, but what happened had happened, and its not that we achieved nothing this season, the team had done great and i really hope they will continue to improve next season as the challenge will be more intense

From my point of view, i think the players are lacking of confidence on field. I see Valencia, Hernandez and Evra are playing way below par, passing, dribbling and lack of pace. But Vidic was the star of United. Without him, we probably would have conceded more goals. Vidic was outstanding throughout.
But hats off to Barca, very well controlled midfield. A lesson for United then? Hard and painful one too |

Vidic was outstanding throughout. 9.5 out of 10 teams won't be able to play their best game when facing Barcelona. i think it's just barcelona's style of play which suppresses the oppositions' style of playBut hats off to Barca, very well controlled midfield.
