I think reaching the finals itself says alot about our abilities.
Silencing alot of the critics from the early parts of the season. The game itself was frustrating to say the least.

Someone in other thread still dare say they won Barcelona before?   We never win them before? At least 08 we draw away and win at home. They win at home but lose away. Remember which team they lose to in 06 final.

I think Park do the job well. Even though he known as 3 lungs Park,but impossible can close down Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Villa at the same time.  He try very hard and final third there, can clearly see he exhausted

One thing that makes other fans dislike Man U is,you see,when Man U wins,all the fans talk like it's end of the world.But when they lose? senyap.
The other thing,when rooney scored last night,all the mamak full of Man U fans shouted like there is no tomorrow,but when barca scored?

I personally,like the way SAF handle their players,but i hate the supporters.
Honest from me coz i have a lots of Man U fans that i felt like punching them in the face.

No shame being second to a team like that. Barcelona were sublime to watch. The way the kept possession of the ball was out of this world. Within 20 minutes they had doubled our no of passes. Outside the first 10 minutes or so, we were 2nd best thruout. We never really threatened to score, and our equaliser was probably our only significant shot on target. Valencia was abysmal. From what I remember, he only beat his marker once, and proceeded to overhit his cross. Our midfield was non-existant, and it was there that we lost the battle that lost us the war. Some might say why Carrick over Fletcher? But remember, our Carrick deserved his place after his stellar performances in the quarters and semis. Fletcher was out for long periods prior to this, and although on hindsight he might b the one better equipped to close down their magicians, he wasn't the most deserved. Chica had more offside calls than passes, our back four were helpless against the waves of attacks, and Edwin couldn't do much about the goals. Such a sad way to bow out after a magnificent run to get so far, but that's football. Fergie admitted that we weren't good enough. Credits to Barcelona. They certainly are a class above. Many teams have fallen to them, so its no shame to lose a cup final to them. All we can hope for is for a rematch next season, preferably in the same stage. Maybe then, we might be the ones smiling come 90 minutes.

What irks me most is the stick opposition fans are giving, seeing their rivals lose. Hell, some of them aren't even going to be in Europe next season. Some of them suffered humiliating defeats against the very same team that stopped us. Some of them crashing out even before their teams got to smell the aroma of the hotdog stand outside Wembley. To this ppl I say, hey, look on the bright side. At least we have a trophy to talk about this summer break. ;P
