it's either the new owners havent got a clue bout what a release clause is, trying to milk more $ becoz butthurt, or there are indeed some extra lines regarding the clause which is what they are trying to conclude now

lol...i dont get that too...if don wan release clause to be exposed then y give him that in the first place

I personally believe he has sign the dotted line, he has done his part then only he went to join the u-21 squad... but the paperworks havent been done, particularly with Blackburn...hopefully just a matter of time, things are looking good

I dont see Rooney playing as a midfielder for now..He has so much to offer upfront, with Hernandez that playing him as a midfielder would be quite a waste of his talents...yes he does drop deep at times but it's to link up the midfield and the strikers since our midfield play quite deep too...maybe the midfield role suits him in the future when he is in his 30s, lost some of his pace, become more mature, do can accurate 60 yard passes like Scholes

in b4 it's not yet July 1st, and he hasnt played a game for us, and can also pull off a "mickel", so we should still be very, very sceptical and shouldnt discuss about it

yeah...could be club, international appearance etc..those clauses if triggered will break their record deal..so it should be around the region of 16.5m
