Anyone have a problem like mine after patch 4.10,

The mic keep turned on although I switch it off (the LED light shows that the mic is off). So I keep hearing noises although I am not using the mic.

The only way I can keep the mic off is via XMB, accessory settings.

I think the new update add a new functionality to the headset. Now you can hear your own voice! That is good IMHO. But the problem is now that we cannot turn off the damn mic. And the mic somehow is very sensitive.

lol no wonder i hear the fan very loud and i can hear my bro lock the door even when i used the headset.

this nver happen before the update but hate the fan part.. other players cant hear me very well and if turn off fan will be vry hot

Yeah. I had the fan situation also. I though it was a hardware problem. Phew

A very cheap and ineffective way to for Sony to implement mic-monitoring.
Just so they could have a feature Turtle Beach or Astro has.

the static sound really sux...never had this problem before the patch

i am going to buy this headset, but seem got some problem for this headset after upgrade the system, can give me some info here.. thank

single player not affected, only multiplayer game got the static sound. but not noticeable.


btw, anyone here has any idea to clean the headset? my headset got sweat smell liao, how?

the sound will come out once you use the Mic on the headset whether it is single or multiplayer. how to clean the headset? frebreeze

Psst...It's wireless. For that kind of amount that you are throwing in for a pair of cans, it's kind of worth it.

The "BassImpact" thing? Probably an equalizer perhaps. Not really a bad idea though, as the old model IMO lacks punch on the bass.

The hidden noise-cancelling mic is quite unique though. Moms might think their kid is crazy talking to themselves if she doesn't see a mic when they're online.

btw, when is the public release. they said fall. i have no idea when is fall.

Fall is Q4 2012, meaning starting September.
To be more precise, September 22nd this year.

So could be anytime from Sept till December.
