May I know what kind of airfare is considered cheap for to and from Taiwan? Is RM1,100 per person for a roundtrip considered cheap? If I delay 4 days, the fare become RM950 per person. Reasonable? The fares quoted include all charges.

I'll be going to Sun Moon Lake by taking the railway train to Taichung station and I wanted to take the Taiwan tourist shuttle bus 台灣好行. Can anyone tell me how or where can I buy the bus ticket? For return tickets?
Is it possible to purchase on the bus or at the Taichung station?
I've been to their website and can't seem to find the info and I don't read chinese.

Qingjing is not that interesting? Wulai seems like a nice place, will consider.
I plan to take HSR from Taipei to Kaohsiung (it saves time because the furthest is covered by a very quick train), then work our way up by HSR or bus. When we reach Taichung, then take bus towards the East and then bus back towards Taipei. Since we are trying to see Taiwan, anyhow the money on transport needs to be spent.
One thing I'm still thinking is to reduce a few places to visit as this schedule requires us to be on the move almost every day which would be tiring.

welll i can suggest that you go from taipei to hua lien to move down to south then back to taichung and lastly back to taipei would be easier and less taxing on travelling

Hi, i will be going to Taiwan on the 25th October. May i know what is the best way to go to Jiufen from Taipei and how long does it take?

Coz i'm getting confuse as some say can take train to Ruifang station then take the Keelung transit bus and some say

THSR Taipei Station (or TRA Taipei Station) → Taipei MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing Station → Keelung Bus (bound for Jinguashi) to Jiufen (Jioufen)

So i'm not sure which 1 is correct.

Please advice 

So how long does it take from Taipei Main Station to Ruifang station to Jiufen? And how do i go back to Taipei from Jiufen. Taking the same keelung bus back to the station?

Hello all, any guide for travelling on a budget?

I like to go for the food & abit of shopping for clothes, etc. Actually I book via airasia just go for 4 days only, then later decide to extend so 9 days total (and cost me rm380 extra to change).. aiyo, heartpain my money cincai fly out ~~

Is the 101 tower worth seeing? my taiwan fren say our klcc more impressive la, and ximending nothing special can skip. My plan (roughly) is go jiufeng first, stay 1-2days then go Hulian, then go taipei n finish up last day in Taoyuan.

Would appreciate suggestions on how I can make the most of my taiwan trip as I doubt I will have a chance to visit again lah
