taipei u go to xi men ding district ..can walk one day there la, so big i guess
zoo there got panda ..the entrance fees is about ntd 60 only if not mistaken

cz as far as i know jiu fern is a small village only..u may drop by to shi fern (lantern place) ,where u buy a lantern from there ...and lepas on the sky

1st take bus to rui fang from taipei train station , and from rui fang , take kee lung bus to jiu fern?

Based on my research, the easiest way to get to Jiufen from Taipei is probably via a train to Ruifang (瑞芳) station and then followed by bus (either bus #1062 or #1042). In fact, any buses that have destination Jiufen or Jinguashi (金瓜石) will bring you to Jiufen.

The bus stop is also conveniently located just opposite Ruifang station. Once you are out of the station, cross the road and the bus stop is in front of the shops. The bus journey is about 20 minutes up the mountain road and if you have motion sickness, you may want to get ready the necessities such as sour plums. The ride was very comfortable to me though and by the way, you can use the EasyCard for the bus fare

Locating the bus stop at Ruifang is easy but knowing where to alight at Jiufen may be a little tricky as the bus stop is just after a bend. The good news is that there are usually a lot of people alighting at this stop and if you are unsure, you can always request the bus driver to notify you when you reach Jiufen. Bus drivers in Taiwan are generally very friendly people and I have not had any unpleasant experience with them (yet). In any case if you miss the Jiufen stop, you will probably end up in Jinguashi, which is about 10 min away. Just take the bus in reverse direction back to Jiufen and you should be alright. if i plan to go to yeh liu and gold eco park b4 heading to jiu fern

cz my hotel is in jiu fern , i plan to go to yeh liu-gold eco park -only to jiu fern

since jiu fern is close early at nite...is it possible to make a way to kee lung market as well?

then i might missed the jiu fern part lo

for the glass temple im also not sure what is the attraction.. because i only plan to go to feng jia night market.. but feel like it will be a waste if only go to feng jia at tai zhong.. dont plan to go to re yue tan or the theme park there... any other better thing to do in tai zhong?

no way man. unless u straight board taxi and go to station to prepare to board the 4.40 express train

u need allocate time for:-

immigration clearance
luggage collection
change money (if u want)
youth card application (if u want)
get sim card (if u want)
travelling time from taoyuan to taipei (if u go to taipei)

i have already booked my hualien tra ticket online. secured seat first as this tra is very hotselling. manage to book the tra-taroko express which is 1hr faster than the others

can someone tell me what seat number is better? my seat number is even number. any idea it is facing left right front back?

im going to hualien on 23/4. original nt$440. book online got 5% disc. i am not sure hows the bank charges for forex. but i book online to avoid no tickets on that day.
yes. according to website its 2 weeks in advance u can book the tickets base on the departure date. once u see the date available u can straight book already.

yes. im taking the taroko express (tze chiang) tra from taipei main station.

i arrive taoyuan airport on 22/4. i might be taking bus or take hsr to reach taipei main station. to take hsr u need take u-bus shuttle service to reach taoyuan hsr station first.
