yeah..mainly figures but they do take orders for comics..very few stocks too..
comics not the main selling points at shops anymore..seems like the industry is slowly dying

Makes the most sense. TPs are much more convenient than floppies, and easier to store and maintain too. Only old-school folks like me still bother getting floppies, just for the sake of maintaining runs (and even then Marvel and DC are making it really easy to abandon their comics these days).

Plus, getting a Kino's card is worthwhile if one is a heavy shopper since it's a permanent 10% discount.

A DC TPB collecting 6-8 issues typically costs $20 (before discount), whereas the floppies would have been $24-$32.

A Marvel TPB collecting 4-5 issues also cost $20 (before discount), floppies would have been $16-$20, but at least they usually offer a gallery of all the variant covers available.

gone are the days when comics actually have a decent resale value.
prices stopped going up after the silverage. only very few key modern issues worth a lot of monies and only because it was either from an independent publisher or very small initial print run.

for myself personally i dont collect stuff in TPs but all my books are HCs.

I buy across all physical formats (floppies, HCs, and TPs). I only avoid digital, unless I got a voucher or the issue becomes free on comiXology.

I still buy floppies for the Buffy, Superman, Transformers, and X-Files titles, along with the occasional add-ons (i.e. Street Fighter, Archie). And also the entire Valiant Entertainment line.

HCs are pretty much limited to the occasional Marvel or DC omnibus.

TPs are for everything else, currently only actively buying Savage Dragon Archives now that Fables and Fairest have ended and Marvel has terminated their Essential line.
