Anyway, why it's named as
DX King? Due to its weight and size?
You will be shocked if I said that is the most expensive pieces of glass for DX. would ya?

It's just like cars. If your car is capable of hitting 200km/hr, your can always drive slower to 110km/hr. If your car is only capable of hitting 110km/hr, you can never expect to accelerate to 200km/hr.
The other thing I treasure more besides quality is speed of focusing. Very important. No use of having a good quality lens but gets focus wrong half the time.
Focusing accuracy is another thing to concern.

50 1.8D speed of focusing is damn cun!
but accuracy wise.

it seems like struggling with itself.

Let me tell you something. if you are new in photography.
care no about noise, sharpness, etc etc etc..
what you should focus on is Composition, Exposure, and Focusing (whether it is nailed or not) but I heard there is a new technology that could save you from focusing problem.
For me. I always put composition as my main concern.
because I know even the pictar is razor sharp it would be useless if it composed badly.
Bad composed pictar will always bad, regardless your sharpness, bokeh, color, and subject.
same thing goes to focusing, no matter how good the picture is. it will be pointless if the pictar is OOF.
for exposure, you can be saved by nowadays technology. but straight correct exposure is always better. save you from time consuming PP.

got one client force me to use canon as she said nikon too sharp. im on kit lens that time :

for me. Nikon is not sharper than canon.
but I wouldn't deny that Nikon has better contrast and more saturated color.
Sharpness I think it is depends on the lens.

anyway again my model said she is happy with my work and she is willingly offered herself to be my private model, w/o any payment.
she can be a good help for me to learn studio setup.
it's been quite sometimes since I keep my interest on studio.
