QUOTE(Alexdino @ Jun 14 2011, 02:56 PM) anyone using MB d11? i just got mine on my D7000.. it seem like the connector between the camera and grip is abit loose, the body couldn't detect the grip/battery info, and all i can use is the shutter button, all other dail is not working. any other solution? or shld i return it? I am using MB-D11 everything working well shutter, dials, and the lock buttons.well it kind of having a gap but it's not loose. I think if that's the case you have to return it. QUOTE(metsatsu @ Jun 14 2011, 04:10 PM) oh sorry i mean how do u guys feel for MB-D11 in terms of its daily use or battery life or performance etc. yeah, so i meant review actually. Errmm.. I'd say it's not giving any significant impact towards battery life nor performance. lol I know how you interpreted my question, my bad. I didn't realize that it sounded like i was asking something else but I cannot more than agree if one saying it better in term of ergonomic. at least it makes me feel less painful when do a lot of portrait oriented shoots. |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jun 16 2011, 07:13 AM) Anticipating for the 50mm f/1.2 AF version from Nikon, the old 50mm f/1.2 AiS (MF) beats the crap out of the newer 50mm f/1.4D and even 50mm f/1.4G :S. aiyah.. 50 1.4 is so lousy la bro..http://www.dwatak.pl/?page_id=537 it seems 50 1.8 beats 50 1.4 hands down in term of sharpness.. =\ bokeh might be the other way round. since 1.4 vs 1.8 but I don't know since I never touch 50 1.8G yet. haha QUOTE(Alexdino @ Jun 16 2011, 10:03 AM) The dealer still yet answering my problem For me, don't go for lowyat bulk for accessories.I need my grip for travels next month... helping you to stay away from sleepless night. If I am not wrong noct 58mm 1.2 is the most expensive nikon MF lens in the market. the price went up like crazy since it is discontinued.

QUOTE(vearn27 @ Jun 16 2011, 11:40 AM) When I'm using 50mm f/1.4, I hardly shot below f/1.8. Therefore, getting f/1.4 isn't the best bargain for me I reckon you can use lightroom for that.Anyway, again gotta ask this... anyone here doing slideshow video for photos? What software would you guys recommend? I'm using Ulead PictureShow 4.0 but apparently I failed to create slideshow video with the background music. I had selected the audio file (mp3) and matched the length, but still couldn't come out there is a navigator tab in lightroom showing slideshow. I myself never experience that yet. you may want to give it a try. I tried pinacle 6 and adobe premier for that. you can give it a try also. both software will take a hell chuck space of your memory. QUOTE(jchue73 @ Jun 16 2011, 12:23 PM) If you love shallow DoF, then you'll love 24mm f/1.4 and the 35mm f/1.4. Oh, not forgetting the 85mm f/1.4 too. Getting DoF separation at wide angles is simply mind boggling. the money resist my temptation. hahaha will have 3 more model shooting till next month. =\ severely need flashgun. oh my instant noodle branded flash. why did I sell you.? QUOTE(geekster129 @ Jun 16 2011, 02:01 PM) sure will do later. QUOTE(vearn27 @ Jun 16 2011, 03:32 PM) LR can create slideshow video? Try to use the 3rd tab of LR navigation tab. There are Adobe Premier Elements and Pro, are they the same? I used Adobe premier pro before, no idea about the other one. ![]() QUOTE I'm considering the 50mm f/1.8G to do some DOF effect and candid shots. If I'm the OP, I'll be less likely having the chance for those since I always need to standby to capture the happenings. Unless carrying 2 bodies or being the backup photog, better not risk having to be hanging in between lens swap. Once the moment is over, the frame will not be able to be composed. you might want to get 50 1.4 D if you want the DOF.yes you have to pay extra RM 300++ but it is cheaper compare to 50 1.4 G. Sigmalux also good. QUOTE Since I'm on DX, I'm considering between 16-35mm f/4G and 24-70mm f/2.8G to be my next upgrade for lens. Any opinion? 24mm on DX quite tight. IMHO get 17-55. 24-70 is mean for FX user.once you are in FX already then sell it off. my photo of the day. still from my company b'day event ![]() Priceless Expression. by aldosoesilo, on Flickr This post has been edited by aldosoesilo: Jun 16 2011, 04:26 PM |
