Sifu(s) i need suggestion for capturing portrait picture as tomorrow Fahrenheit 88 got some online game company event and some cosplayer(based on game) will be thr. I'm using d5100 with kit lens (will be using aperture priority f/3.5), should i use af-c focus mode with auto area af? and if full body portrait do i focus middle of body or the eyes? please enlighten me

Actually, what are the key differences between FX and DX beside the crop factor and focus points?

For example:

17-55 f/2.8 (25.5-85.5 after multiply with factor) on D7000/D300s VS 24-70 f/2.8 on D700.

Is there really significant difference on the photo quality output of the combination above?

i heard my friend said, ya. just like geekster said ISO performance will be a lot better because larger sensor size.

larger sensor size, lower noise will be produced because the sensor allow more light absorb compare to crop factor.
beside that, have more control is default setting for the nikon marketing la...and burst shot and focus point also more than mid range to make them expensive haha
