i got 1 question,last time i flash MDJ unity kernel on Virtuous,and then i flash the script,and it terus push my cpu max at 1.7ghz(i blieve unity kernel max is 1.7ghz) everytime i on my phone,and it will freeze my phone after few minutes usage,so i edit the cpu frequency using the way they taught in XDA.question is,y we need to flash the script as flashing the script will make us clock our cpu at max?we can juz edit the clock speed using root explorer right?

I tried both 1.2 and 1.3, difference not much on battery life, but performance got a bit faster

since you use SA2 then i try the default ondemand and c if there is any difference

Yes, you can edit the freq using Root Ex ...well, i rather use default

Yes, yes. LD default OCD is 1.3GHz, then I changed to 1.1Ghz .... Later I changed back to 1.3GHz.

Don worry, you can edit the frequency speed. Either before you flash you can alwiz edit using notepad or after flashing using root explorer. No harm

In order to use this Daemon thingy, you need to flash the Daemon script. Otherwise, you can't find the script setting in file explorer (system/etc/virtuous_oc)

Meaning if you already flash the daemon script, just uninstall SetCPU as the script also got the same function like SetCPU, but only can OC/UV wake and sleep only. A bit difficult using daemon is, we need to manually check and change the frequencies because diff. kernel give diff. freqs..

I'm using Terminal Emulator to check the freqs. Governors mostly same.

Well, depend on you...flashing it make it easier to set ..at least some of the freq are ready to be use

i switch between HoneySense and CoreDroid coz i just love the eye-candies.. =)
but im on CoreDroid 7.0 at the moment, itchy fingers waiting to download HoneySense 6.0 when it arrives.

flash to RCMix v1.6 adi.so tis rom din support for daemon oc right?means tat i can use setcpu?

Yes. Try LD kernel with SA2 governor. Very nice. But RCMix 1.6 not much different right? Smoothness still better on Virtuous side as I compare to my friend side by side now

For me dont oc above 1.5ghz its not stable . Now oc up 1.4 online.

Now I'm on unity virtuous rom I think the best sense 3.0 rom out there .

yup,virtuous is still smoother than RCMix,use for a while 1st then if not really satisfied,will revert bec to Virtuous.
edit:use smartbench on both rom,Virtuous give me better result,much more better than RCMix...

seriously,after try Virtuous,dun feel like to flash any other rom...
can u guys give me the details of how u set ur daemon in Virtuous?
i mean:
governor:
min freq:
max freq:
for both wake and sleep.
