hi Louis, both 8.1 mm pins cannot fit in.. Only the 7.9mm pins can fit in. So only 2 lower pins are changed. I asked the foreman in tyre shop whether can skim the 8.1mm pins but he said after skimmed, the pins will still has abit of 'gap'... Anyway, the "klurk klurk" sounds is not so obvious ady, but still can hear a bit intermittently.... How come the 8.1mm cannot fit in huh?hmm...

HI Ed,
if not mistake, normally we installl 8.1mm on the lower pin and upper pin with the 7.9mm with oring.
beside, i think the foreman is lazy to do it as while we grind.. we grind it slowly and match the hole first before we direct grind to the small size..
gap is sure have as we little clearance to let the pin move in and out smoothly to prevent jam brake.

beside, can know today u install by urself or by the foreman?

The 8.1mm cannot fit in both lower and upper pin, so have to use 7.9mm on the lower pin for both sides... i let foreman do it because the wheels nuts of mine is very tight, i not able to loosen the nuts.

So now i have two 8.1mm pins available. Can i sell back to u?

did u had open the packing? if not yet then still ok. if open d then cant liao.. as u know la.. if sell open package.. my customer sure say i put 2nd item.. lol.. i think better u try to grind little n put it in to make it perfect.. as i dun think so is hard to DIY lo..
once u done.. i think ur car will totally eliminate the sound lor..
