there's no way u can switch GPU................because the GT550M is soldered to the motherboard

for GPU, some are DDR3, DDR5 and GDDR5.
So the only way if u want a GDDR5 is by buying a mobile GPU with GDDR5.....but impossible to upgrade your current GPU

No sry i mean the ram on laptop... Wud switching be possible for ddr5? And if so wud it b bad bc the gpu is ddr3 ram??

On the RAM is called Memory and the latest is only DDR3.....no DDR5 is release yet.....

ram should b4 sd ddr3... gddr5 like hd6770m at hp dv6
