2. Being BSD base doesn't make it impregnable, its the other way around. Clueless Mac users live under the impression that because its BSD base, hence its 100% secure.

Malware coders and organization attack platform which gives Return on Investment on their effort to code the malwares.
Hence, targeting a platform with the most user base in the modus operandi.

what makes you think that Linux is any better than the security of Mac and Windows?
Sure, up to this point, it's malware proof, but there's tons of Linux rootkit around.

To make a statement, use this OS instead of this OS because this OS is secure, is very naive, very very naive indeed.
