QUOTE(Ramjade @ May 20 2011, 10:18 AM) Shame on you Apple! AhhHow could you decide not to help your customers? At least Microsoft provide support for their customers when it come to malware. Looks like Apple to trying to "protect their no-virus image". Lesson learn. Use common sense. Never assume. Stop buying Mac. Windows is cheaper, can play more games, provide support and have vast security setup up for free. See here: Link 1 Link 2 Link 3 Apple is all about their iPad and iPhone. Computer games, I think many still will go for Windows XD Added on May 20, 2011, 9:24 amA quick solution to those who are infected. http://www.itscolumn.com/2011/05/4-quick-s...lware-solution/ This post has been edited by highwind: May 20 2011, 09:24 AM |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ May 26 2011, 10:20 PM) More bad news for Apple and Mac users. I had wrote something about that too in this entry. Just barely 12 hours after Apple announce their support on how to remove the rogues, new and more dangerous variants of rogues that target Mac users have appear. For more info, read the links below. Link 1 Link 2 Link 3 Looks like Mac users are in for a tough fight... |

QUOTE(trifecta @ Jun 13 2011, 05:09 PM) what makes you think that Linux is any better than the security of Mac and Windows? Agreed.........every OS has its vulnerabilities. It depends whether someone willing to create a program to exploit that Sure, up to this point, it's malware proof, but there's tons of Linux rootkit around. To make a statement, use this OS instead of this OS because this OS is secure, is very naive, very very naive indeed. |

At least we learn here that technology will not make us stay safe on the internet. In the end, it is the user behavior that determines their own safety.
