hehe, hatch the triops egg then put marimos together with triops tongue.gif but gonna take a long period (few weeks) to show u all the photos smile.gif as it takes time for triops to grow bigger until they are visible to be taken in photo:P

hi decemberose, yes your marimo is getting sick! no worry, use a little salt to rub and wash the "sick" part of marimo after that fill the marimo in the bottle with water mixture of 5% of salt and put them into fridge for 24-48 hours wink.gif this is the remedy wink.gif

so cute? then how it drop and be independent?
*
It will slowly grow until its desired size and it will propagate from the Giant and drop down as new marimo. This is what we call Marimo reproducing themself naturally through division

i din ask the LFS..but i think is those normal white sand..i dun think is coral sand cos it touch like sand instead of coral..
errr..i dun think is expensive..i bought a small bag(the total amount of the sand inside the 2 bottle) for RM3..i think around 500gram gua..but the bag there din mention the weight..rough estimate
*
ic, I got similiar sand but it is coral sand, the color more yellownish, coral sand is better as it can neutral the pH level of your water and also consist rich nutrition, I am looking for lower mineral level of sand for my triops eggs hatch, the coral sand here selling RM3/kg

very strong light?
*
Based on my experiences, when optimum temperature + strong light then this will happen

Optimum Temperature = 26-28 Degree Celcius
Strong Light = assuming 30W light bulb from study table lamp directly strike towards the marimos
