QUOTE(Kaisergrendel @ Oct 20 2012, 09:49 AM) The seller might be able to tell her why her marimo exploded, but once the filaments are broken, I don't think they can reattach themselves. Really, has anyone ever managed to rejoin a split marimo? I also don't think it can re-attach back. Maybe can manually roll it back use hand and that also kenot guarantee re-attach back. Have to see what the seller say lah, maybe the seller will try to hard sell another round one lah This post has been edited by femgoo2005: Oct 20 2012, 10:26 AM

QUOTE(RainbowVeronica @ Oct 20 2012, 10:59 AM) just roll it back and see how... thanks for d feedback Aiyak! dun putus asa so fast lah Rainbow, just ask the seller 1st. Maybe the seller willing to exchange a new one for you leh. Anyway arh... Marimo splitting up doesn't mean dead, it only change into different form but still pretty much alive if its still dark green as long as you maintain clean water.

QUOTE(haur @ Nov 1 2012, 10:57 PM) Guys, will it be better if I use chilled water from the water dispenser as I dont think I can put them in the fridge overnight. When you guys put them overnight, do you just use a container which covers just enough for their height? Please advice. Thanks. No problem with chilled water Haur. Container with or without cover is fine just make sure the container is as big as 3 to 4 times of Marimo's height. Reason is you need not change its water frequently. When weather is hot you'll find that the water smell like 'yulk' macam Marimo sweating haha , the smell is much obvious if you keep it in a smaller container with less water . But if you were to house marimo in a none cover container anywhere in your house without fish in it, there is a risk of attracting nyamuk aedes.

Hi LeeYung and all LeeYung Marimo members, My 2nd batch got from Lee Yung past 11 days. Doing good and in comfortably settle condition. My 1st batch had brown patch but managed to cured in 4 months time but now all gone due to my carelessness and it has nothing to do with weather, lightning and water condition. Hope this 2nd batch to be kept for good. Thank you Lee Yung. Wanna share pic. Enjoy. My WebpageThis post has been edited by femgoo2005: Oct 20 2013, 01:11 PM
