Have been so busy with work nowadays. I have some questions!
How often do you guys clean your fans? My previous dell, I have not cleaned it even once in 5 years, and its noisy as hell. Now after approx 1~1.5 months, my temperatures are slightly higher by 2~3 degrees. |

Those with GTX485, I have questions...
Anyone installed the latest driver, 275.33? I see a huge drop in FPS after installing it. I thought Im supposed to get better performance? :S |

I just opened my laptop up, cleaned the fans...and disaster happened.
I lost two screws in the laptop. I tried shaking it out, and it didn't come out. Either 1. It's stuck tight in between something or 2. It dropped on the red/black/yellow carpet and its lost... I hope its lost! |

There's no sound at all when I shook it. I tapped it a little and nothing happened.
I hope I lost the screw instead of it stuck inside somewhere... I took apart the optical bay, fans, heatsinks and the harddrive. Couldn't find it...prolly stuck somewhere deep Lesson learnt...always always use a magnetic screwdriver... This post has been edited by Keenxlimit: Oct 3 2011, 08:08 AM |

Anyone can help me?
I was cleaning the fan today and was curious of what component was underneath I pulled out what seems to be the CPU, and now my temperature on full load is like 90 degrees. Do you guys think that i screwed up the thermal paste, probably trapped some air inside or something? Its giving me a headache... |

Ohhh...so the problem is...? Did the paste dry up/ get air pockets/ dust sticking on the paste?
Also did anyone buy from mucro? is the amount they put normal or not? |

My screen lights up but no picture appears
Happened after launching starcraft, no idea what the problem is... The recurring problem in my laptop is the Kernel driver error or something, related to the graphics card My graphics card will always restart itself after several hours or so, so i think thats it Spray that thing out with compressed gas? I did it on a piece of nugget under my keyboard before |

For mine, the screen will turn into weird colours, mainly RGB
