I clean it whenever I see my temperature is too dangerous to operate at full load

I think its normal. My G53SX does have higher temp on CPU but lower temp on GPU, due to CPU fan speed is lower and GPU fan speed is higher. I guess that's how it work for most laptop normally.

Hmm I'm not sure. My inspiron 1420 idles for CPU around 30~40, same for my Sager..

Hey guys, question.... I have a Sager NP8130. Now usually when i start to game intensively, the fan will turn itself on full blast. But there was one time where i accidentally press Fn+1 which makes the fan turn on at full speed. So i press Fn+1 again to lower the speed. Now the fan doesn't turn itself on when the laptop is overheating which it uses to do last time. Help me ! And also can i have the  other configs of Fn+? for what thingie . Thanks sifus and all.
*
Hmm thats odd, it works fine for me after turning Fn+1 on/off several times for months now. Fn + 5 for better sound...not sure if it works on 8130

So roughly at what temps does the fan turn itself on ? I have temps hitting at 87c and the fan still does not turn itself on.... any help? Btw...what r u guys temps during idle and full load ? For me, graphic itnense games like Skyrim can hit 85c for the GC and up to 83c for the Processors....is that normal ? Idle can hit around 57c for processor and 61 for GC. even youtube hits that area. Is that normal ? What do i need to do to fix it...

Umm, I've tried stuff like mass effect and crysis, but I turn on Fn+1 when I run those games. When I play SC2 or something, I just the the fan run by itself. Even then, it shouldnt be as high as Fn+1 if you are asking about that. It wont spin at max speed...Not sure about the idling temp with youtube, but whenever I stream videos, it gets around 70 or so...You will probably have to wait for someone with more experience to answer..
