hmm...bigger laptop comes with bigger room for cooling?
But this Alienware M18X really gives Sager NP7282 a slap.
M18X is not available in Malaysia, I tried to customize an M18X with AMD HD6970 crossfire in Dell U.S. website. Just choose not to upgrade the RAM and HDD since we can get cheaper here, price might be quite close to NP7282 and somemore it comes with an 18.4" screen.
yeah alienware m18x can be close to np7282, but u can get in any high price as m18x is really overprocied a higher performence with np7282, u can come up with a dual 6970m or gtx485m sli plus a low-cost six core processor like 970 or even 990x, it will be more powerful than a 2920xm ... but i am not sure still about the quality of m18x screen, i did have some issues before with alienware products but thats y i am switching to sager.

I wonder if Sager will come up with a 18.4 inch LCD screen, hahaha, kinda look forward to it

perhaps once they can back to that line of 18.4 inches, still some companies i gues like eurocome and origin pc are offering that option but its with mobility stuff

tried crysis 2 with gtx460m.
turns out gtx460m cant really handle crysis2.
i got around 30 to 39 fps for 1920x1080 at lowest setting : Gamer :
damn -.-
are u sure? becuz i get 30 to 35 frame rate at high setting at 1600x900 with GTX260m in m15x...yeah 1920.1080 for crysis 2 is quiet heavy, currently u can play with A NICE FRAME RATE crysis 2 at hardcore settings with 1920x1080 only with GTX485m SLI or 6970m CRoss according to the benchmars in notebookcheck, however a single GPU of them may be possible but at frame rate of 30 . less or more....its damn heavy !!! i will bechmark many games once i recieved my np7282....crysis 1 and 2 - the witcher 2 - metro 2033 - fable 3 and so on as well as dirt 3, i think all are possible to play at highest setting with 1080
