According to tyre manufacturers across the world running tyres are not required to be replaced when residual tread depth is higher than 1.6 mm i.e Tread Wear Indicator marking at longkang, among other reasons.

So-called wrinkles or dry rots are NOT tyre manufacturers' criteria of recommending replacement/ditching of running tyres.
