So basically everyone here really cancelled their credit cards that they used before on psn as response to attack?

By right if our cc company detected transaction originating from countries outside malaysia they would inform us right?

asia dont have cyber security firm like europe or us, they said worst case scenario it will be online at the end of the month, and Im guessing it wont be online until at least next week.

Cancelling the CC is the safest way, yes.

maybe asia not many rely on psn online feature.. and maybe japan not many play online oso except minority of hardcores... and i hear no news about japan rage about the outage.. so i think sony is taking their time..

which PSN id you choose ? my suggestion choose US

I can't sign in 2 my US account even after I updated 2 fw3.61. u sure u can register now?

You can create psn id for all region if you want... USA, EU or Asia and even Japan...But, you have to decide which Id you want to have your trophies registered...Its a permanent thing.. So you have to decide...And yea, USA address you simply google one is fine.. For Msia one, I suggest you dun put your real address.. Just for a peace of mind... However, every ID need a new user account... So if you have 3 countries PSN you have to have 3 users in your PS3...

Also some DLC is region locked... But, most of the time the games sold in lyn is R1 or R3... R3 DLCs some are compatible with R1 so depends also.. R2 most of the time is not compatible with other 2...But, DLC you can dwnload separately anyway..

I havent proceed with creating a PSN id yet lo

so, meaning, doesn't matter how many user account with diff countries that I hv in my PS3, I am still considered Malaysia-based, thus, I need 2 wait, right?
so, does that mean paige.pc cannot register yet? just trying 2 understand wat's going on here. thx.
