I have been chosen by matriculation but i do not know whether i should go for it or not. One of my friend told me that if a CHINESE go to matrix, he/she have to get the pointer up to 3.8 and have to maintain it. If not he/she do not have the chance to go for local university. Is that true?

she is one of my senior, she is a fresh graduated student from USM.
The problem is i'm a chinese, i do not have the confidence to get 3.8 and above:(

P/S: i have registered for UTAR and have paid to it RM3000++. But the tuition fees is refundable.

thank you to you-all opinion. I am not a genius. I did not get a "WOW" result in SPM. I just feel i'm very lucky to have an opportunity to enter matrix. Well, I will put more punch into it but it's impossible for me to get 4.0 since i'm taking science stream.
