Tavano already in Lippi eye on today goal.com edition.
But I still prefer macha Miccoli with his experience and suit enough to benchwarm the attacking line.

and please no Cassano. He can shove his arrogant and classy-club-picking somewhere else. Thats what overrated deserved.

The inclusion of AC Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi was the main talking point after Italy coach Marcello Lippi named a 29-man squad for a pre-FIFA World Cup(tm) get-together at the Centro Tecnico Borghesiana training centre in Rome on 2 and 3 May.

Lippi had named the squad.

Goalkeepers: Buffon (Juventus), Peruzzi (Lazio), Amelia (Livorno)

Defenders: Zambrotta (Juventus), Nesta (Milan), Cannavaro (Juventus), Grosso (Palermo), Zaccardo (Palermo), Barzagli (Palermo), Materazzi (Inter), Oddo (Lazio)

Midfielders: Camoranesi (Juventus), Pirlo (Milan), Gattuso (Milan), De Rossi (Roma), Perrotta (Roma), Barone (Palermo)

Attackers: Totti (Roma), Toni (Fiorentina), Gilardino (Milan), Del Piero (Juventus), Inzaghi (Milan), Iaquinta (Udinese)

Reserves: De Sanctis (Udinese), Bonera (Parma), Marchionni (Parma), Semioli (Chievo)

not much to complaint abt, juz that i think Lucarelli should b ahead of Iaquinta.

Hehehe.... Vieri no standard already...same goes as Di Vaio.
