Marcello Lippi has denied reports that he has arranged to meet up with Christian Panucci for peace talks. "I have no need to see him," he said.

It was widely reported in Italy today that the national Coach had decided to bury the hatchet with the Roma full-back in light of the Azzurri's need for a reliable right-back.

However, Lippi denied unequivocally any intention on his part to hold clear-the-air talks with the former Chelsea man.

i think Lippi take it too personal. Panucci is doing great this season. Alrite, mayb no calling him in the squad, but at least considering him. Now Lippi is like completely ignore him.
