Does that mean hypermarkets which sells at RM 7.90 will also readjust to RM 7.50? Or now TRU sells at RM 7.50, end of year RM 7.90?

Its true. I heard from some collectors that since TOMICA is RM 10.90, Mattel is moving their price up to be in par with TOMICA. Then maybe Speed Machines or Vintage price would move up to GreenLight or Jada Toys prices.

I think HWs in TRU may not sell fast like hypermarkets who also sells at normal price but regularly have mark down prices esp Tesco and C4. I just spotted Tesco selling basic car for RM 4.50 while GARAGE series buang harga at RM 4.99!!

Opps! Price went up again!? Fret not..hypermarket regularly have special price for HWs unlike Jusco or TRU, when price increase, it stays there. At least Jusco have 10% during sale but TRU none at all.

Giant = Leading Lowest Price Leader? If go up any higher, i stick to MCD Value meals.

If VIP cannot pay their new price, next time if VIP ask for new shipment, the insiders will say "Stock tak sampai lg" while offering it to VIP no. 2. If nobody wants to pay, t-hunts would just be kept hidden collecting dust until one fine day see it hung back at the pegs.

Haha bro py, wish i can still find baja beetle again. Lunchtime I sneaked into a TRU, got two types of box. But dead cases. Then got chased by security..lol. I try again later in evening.

Hunting is tiring but if see new models..that is rewarding.

Entrance wide open. Was there for 5 min before i spotted HHB and KKQ on da floor...sealed...all sealed. Got a staff to come and opened a few but solid 72 basic cars. Then Indian lady acting like security come ask why i open. I say staff open. She asked who? I replied "You dunno who is your staff?". HWs are not for sale yet. Huh? Then why on da floor and not in storeroom? I smell fish so i took down her name, later make complain.

Most C4 have promotion like this. Take advantage of the promotion.

At least C4 got low price offer, other retailers like TRU none at all.

I like C4 and TESCO marketing for the toys...even though selection is little but when they want any toys to go, they really meant it. No eye see price...like Tesco last mth GARAGE for Rm 4.99....where else can they offer at this price. Affordable if one was to buy them for the wheels customisation/ swapping.

If that Nissan Z yellow was on the road, surely will get pulled over.

Some other brands have window on the other side of the packaging for collectors to assess the perfection. Unless we uncard the HW or MBX, we will might not know whether the other side is to our preference.

Have to buy really selectively. Cannot expand my exotic collection to other muscle or funny models. I can buy the real hot cars for RM 7.50 but no more other models which I dun like. That means Mattel may have many unpopular cars from now onwards.

Not surprise to see them selling 3 pcs for RM 5 at next warehouse sale.

I dun mind paying Rm 7.50 for that kind of product above.

For me, as long if most of the HW models have that kind of presentation then its worth my RM 7.50...i seen some older basic series from many years back...their pattern and designs are worth the selling price.

I dun mind collecting the short cards if its priced half of what we are gonna pay. Ferrari 5-pck...yup dunsee them that frequent animore.

I went to the C4s located ard my area..all nice ones habis kena sapu...since early last week. Even before the start of RM 5 promo.

C4 MVC ...fast and furious stock turnover. One day flooded with new cars, next day many nice models bought up, following week nothing much left.

There are other staff in hypermarkets, can ask others to help reach the model at the top toget it for you. Some bangla claim help but when left the scene, you dun see them for ages. If climb yourself, then out of nowhere a staff or taiko will come scolding you..

Funny thing is their mentality. YOu are clearly trying to reach for the product on the highest peak and they ask "Oii! Apa you buat?" Man, they dun go "Yes sir, can I help you?" anymore.
