Used to see MonsterJam series on the shelves. Now its sales discontinued in Msia?

From my observation & shopping trips, I;ve regularly seen the yellow and black megane trophy HW models on the pegs. Until to the point some other collectors claim "Berlambak...sudah ada, model biasa je". However given time, these exotic sports car models will sold out too.

If sighted, buy first regardless whether it will flood da market to avoid that model becoming hard to find or price increase.

The best i seen at our local market are those Disney themed cars by Matchbox and Tomica. Not many variety to offer.

I felt Speed Machines in Msia highly priced. 7-11 and Newsplus still selling at RM 14.90 (high) but many big retail stores selling at RM 16.90 (also high).

Some collectors told me that they buy 3 free one car, later goes back service counter to change the fugly car with another one from the rack. How to define which is free item? There are no "FREE GIFT" or "NOT FOR SALE" stickers.

Some buy 30 cars free 10 cars then within 7 days can go to exchange the fugly 10 for other 10. If within 7 days got new models appearing, even better.

When i started, the free car is freely available to pick from the rack itself with an acompanying staff.

I saw it at Jusco Sunway. And it was well placed among the other cars.

I believe the staff do not want to display too many because those may get lost and maybe due to lack of space. Sometimes I see new models which I did not see on the previous week. New stock? Nope, they say took out from store. That is why some lucky visitor can get nice cars at non-peak periods. And we thought all the good stuff gone during 7-11 hotwheels promotion.

7-11 regularly have stocktake checks by external auditors so unlikely the toys are hidden all the time.

Nice!! Definately not seen this in Msian retail. Summore existing color shifters still plentiful. Oveerpriced hence most likely dump price at the next Mattel warehouse sale.

Wow.. bang head collector. And i thought i buy many time machines was bad to the wallet. However i bought them from various shopping sessions but nowadays hardly see the time machines. WOuld it be reoffered in future releases?

But buick riveira wave dun have time machines..that means durian torpedo box have more time machines? But given time, it will sell fast too.

Hotwheels like bumi IPO shares. 1st batch for collectors, 2nd batch for collectors who missed 1st round and general public.

Ha ha...once they have their fill then the others can savour the scraps. I once met a collector during mamak session claiming this particular model is not popular and sounded like not worth getting. Then in a week later saw him at Jusco buying that same model. If there is 50 pcs, i think he will buy all up. And just like you guys mentioned, he claims he buys for his friends. And i thought that seller Kim was aggressive.

Ha ha, not to mention misdirection intel on new models availability. Far worse than going on random 7-11 outlet hunting during HW promotion.

Err...anyone knows why no poster on the 2011 series so far? I have gotten 2005 to 2010 from other collectors but they too seem puzzled over the absence of this year poster.

I got the 2nd chevy truck from Jusco, yellow camino car from TRU but torpedo car from bro mchw08 whom also offered the porsche and super tsunami to me. Many thanks. To care is to share.

The super tsunami is impressive. Look like supra toyota with racing tampos. I have the 2005 drift kings version too.

BTW TRU have increased price to RM 7.50 for basic car series.
