Last night, I accompanied my wife for a business meeting. I sat on a different table but I can see that the person she met (old chap, late 40s) is using SGS. I just scream in my heart...

"Give me the phone... let me turn it to Ferrari"  flex.gif

It was so lag, I think the phone running Eclair.

hmm.gif So far I've encountered three senior citizen using Galaxy series. My father and the person I met last night using SGS, my friend's father using Galaxy Tab.
*
my daddy also using Galaxy Tab. biggrin.gif dont want to buy iphone cause he said everything is expensive, the case, the screen protector etc. and to be honest, even without custom rom, the galaxy tab run much faster than our stock sgs. wonder how it will perform if i flash custom rom tho, for sure it will be awesome! brows.gif

QUOTE(pcboy @ May 31 2011, 07:10 PM)

*
you got screen corruption due to bootloader problem. check back the thread where you install jv9, then flash back again.

wow. sounds like an ultra-ehem2 stuff. haha

another important question.

i use my Galaxy as modem, i tethered alot using the Mobile AP. as a result, i charged my hp atleast 3 times a day. is it healthy?  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
IMO, its still healthy as long as you didnt OC. i normally charge twice a day cause i surf a lot, hear music, and on gaming you know. but make sure you switch off your phone everytime you charge to make sure your battery wont die quickly.

Hey what you all thinks of this Galaxy S Plus phone?
do you think the performance will make a huge different compared with i9000?
should i wait for it?
*
i think, the only main difference is it got Gingerbread OS only, our SGS i9000 have froyo built in. well, in my opinion, i think the one that you should wait is the SGS 2. really really worth upgrading from SGS 1.

I bought my SGS AP set last month.  I was running Darky Extreme V9.5 and I can get the GPS to lock sometimes and it as to be outside in the open.  Sometimes it just won't lock at all.

I try Juwe's GB and stock GB DXJV9 last 2 days and try Papago and the GPS desn't lock at all even in wide open space outdoors.

Yes, DXJV9 got Bahasa Malaysia Swype.  I just try it and its there.
*
so is the DXJV9 stable like froyo roms? thinking to flash to it somehow. hmm.gif

One question. I flashed JV9 with bootloader (Gingerbread) then flashed to JPE (Froyo), is that mean my bootloader is still in Gingerbread?
*
well, if you dont get the screen corruption, that means you okay. and did your JPE file got the sbl.bin during flashing? then you're back to froyo bootloader, if not maybe its still on GB boot loader.

Anyone tried JUWE's "[SCRIPT] The best Memory (RAM) optimization"?? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1111145

I tried it and it seems to make the phone feel faster and respond better.

Are sure its safer to flash? any weird behaviour after you flash this or everything's normal?

What is kies? Never heard or used it before after owning the phone for almost a year. Odin and CWM is the only tools you need  tongue.gif
*
+1 hell yeah, totally agree with you. i only use kies for like, 3 times only. but then, ditch her already. lol. for me, i think freakfingers also not been around here quiet for a long time already, but he's active in xda though.

Deodexed stock DXJV9 with speedmod + sd-booster = superb. so far i do not have any issue on battery drain, i would say as good as froyo 2.2.1

Now testing custom rom "eRobot" based on DXJV9, so far so good, battery life is yet to conclude.
*
hey, you're the one who answer me in the xda thread! tongue.gif so are you confirmed 1000% that the issues already been resolved? sorry for asking too much, im just eager to flash to GB roms somehow. the hands are itchy alreadyyy biggrin.gif mind give some review for the jv9 rom?
