Last night, I accompanied my wife for a business meeting. I sat on a different table but I can see that the person she met (old chap, late 40s) is using SGS. I just scream in my heart...

It was so lag, I think the phone running Eclair.

So far I've encountered three senior citizen using Galaxy series. My father and the person I met last night using SGS, my friend's father using Galaxy Tab.

Can you please try record some video and take a look at it's playback? Is it still choppy?

yea.. video playback is not choppy. if u dont like iOS style, just install ADW and its gonna be same like cm7.. i cant tell if its already perfect but everything suits my need atm

good day everyone..i just upgrade my froyo to gb DXJV9 via CWM..after rebooting the screen became totally mess up(its like the screen got stucked with multiple red blue white horizontal color before the galaxy s title then its ok..second after that it became mess up again before the S logo..but everything went well and my phone now is a DXJV9 with root..is there any prob in the future if lets say i wanted to flash another latest rom using CWM..is there a CWM to begin with if im using DXJV9..thank you in advance guys!!!

i use my Galaxy as modem, i tethered alot using the Mobile AP. as a result, i charged my hp atleast 3 times a day. is it healthy?   

Hey what you all thinks of this Galaxy S Plus phone?
do you think the performance will make a huge different compared with i9000?
should i wait for it?

I bought my SGS AP set last month.  I was running Darky Extreme V9.5 and I can get the GPS to lock sometimes and it as to be outside in the open.  Sometimes it just won't lock at all. 

I try Juwe's GB and stock GB DXJV9 last 2 days and try Papago and the GPS desn't lock at all even in wide open space outdoors.

Yes, DXJV9 got Bahasa Malaysia Swype.  I just try it and its there.

One question. I flashed JV9 with bootloader (Gingerbread) then flashed to JPE (Froyo), is that mean my bootloader is still in Gingerbread?

anyone upgrade to JV9 via kies, will the existing apps and data get wiped off?

I tried it and it seems to make the phone feel faster and respond better.

What is kies? Never heard or used it before after owning the phone for almost a year. Odin and CWM is the only tools you need

Deodexed stock DXJV9 with speedmod + sd-booster = superb. so far i do not have any issue on battery drain, i would say as good as froyo 2.2.1

Now testing custom rom "eRobot" based on DXJV9, so far so good, battery life is yet to conclude.
