Sifus out there, I'm looking for the perfect rangefinder bag for me, and I've narrow it down to basically these three brands/models. In no particular order: Domke Bag http://www.tiffen.com/userimages/Domke_Cat_noZing_SS.pdf M Classics Bag http://www.mclassics.com/ Billingham Classic 550/Hadley Bag http://www.billingham.co.uk/acatalog/Hadleys.html I asked around, looked around KL, and I've yet to see any shop and find anybody who are using these brands Also if any of you know of a good, sturdy, heavy duty leather rangefinder bag that's not too big, let me know as well! Help? This post has been edited by C-Fu: May 11 2011, 02:03 AM

I prefer Billingham or the leica classic M bag. You may need to get it online or bid one from ebay, shop around in SG if you happen to go there, you will find a lot of goodies there.
Camera shops in KL hardly have ready stock for these bags , even they do it will be more expensive than anywhere !

I got my Billingham Bags from Shashinki.com. The model I got was the Billingham f/Stop Series f1.4 for my DSLR. It's around RM800.
If I were to use Leica M Series/Fuji X100 (which you have), I would definitely go for the M Classics Bag. The price is pretty decent plus the shipping is reasonable. Besides, all the practical-ness, it screams quality too.
Domke Bags, I'm not too into it. I find them rather too bland for my taste. But hey, if it works for you. Why not ?

Singapore eh. Hmmm thanks mate. Dammit cannot be la Malaysian have no taste! There's one more though that I've been eyeing on for a long while. Only recently realised that it's perfect for a heavy duty camera bag! Duluth bag. Not exactly a camera bag, but it's tough as hell. Should've bought em while i was in the states http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/duluth-...esso/42109.aspxhttp://www.duluthtrading.com/store/product...mended_productshttp://www.duluthtrading.com/store/duluth-...arel/91099.aspxhttp://www.duluthtrading.com/store/duluth-...arel/43129.aspxmade with fire hose material! Images are rather large though, but worth it IMO » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

For Billingham, check out Keat Camera Service (Pudu) or J One (Amcorp).
That's what I was told by Shriro representatives.

Yeah, I need soft soft leather (FYI my AA strap also the soft leather kind) bag. more ergonomical, wraps around my body, good when in the jungle Prolly gonna go Keat soon thanks! I didn't know it's such a difficult job to get a good, solid leather camera bag in Malaysia! Has it always been like this? This post has been edited by C-Fu: May 11 2011, 12:21 PM

if i were you, i'd clean and condition the leather. if it's vintage (and definitely looks worn out), first u pakai j&j baby shampoo and warm water and lather it. pakai towel and dry it, then pakai leather conditioner and microfibre or kain tak kasar and polish it. make sure you dampen the kain first so not much conditioner kena kulit. do it several times, each time waiting around 30-60 mins to coat it. or you can just send it to a GOOD dry cleaner that can dryclean leather if you dunno wether they use good chemicals or kuat ones, then might be better to do it yourself. good rule of thumb that i learn over the years is treat your leather like how you treat your skin, and it'll last a lifetime. you don't really wax your skin, so don't wax your leather. stuff like that not selling the brown one ah?
