Hi,

Would like to get some advice from sifus here.

My car (Gen-2 CPS), one of the its rim has been damaged (uneven cover on the tyre), which cause its tyre pressure keep on dropping overtime.
about 2kpi/day.

Since it is stock rim and stock tyre (almost 4yrs usage, almost 5 yrs from production date, it does consider old right?), I am thinking to change all 4 rims and the tyres as well. Should i?

Can i change to the original rim size +1 inch ? and the tyres +1inch as well? Is it stock come with 15"? any setback if i do this way?

Any suggestion/input on my above issue would be greatly appreciated. (rim,tyres,shop recommendation,etc.) Thanks. 

just thinking to upsize to 16" because of better grip and better look..

Some recommend me 205 45 R16 of michelin ps3. Will it be a lot diff between 205 45 R16 and 205 50 R16 ? can it last like 40k mileage?
for me, grip(safety), performance(dry+wet), on the other hand noise and comfort can be compromise

How about yoko ad07, federal rsr, hankook evo s1? Or any good recommend?
Mostly for driving around places like genting. No need to be super good on wet cos if wet i'll wont push the car to limit. Just SAFE as in good stopping when wet is ok liao.

i would recommend yokohama c.drive2 if you dont mind the higher than normal treadwear (soft compound)

i run my car at higher speeds (around/over 160km/h) and traction is fine. whacked corners at 100-120km/h also got enough grip.

wet performance also not too bad, highest ive run on wet is around 100-120km/h, dont dare whack corners during wet though

in general though yokohama tires are never famous for their wet performance and most reviews will rate their wet performance being very bad and i do agree. besides the compound auto hardens in wet and sorta lose its comfort/quiet feature and the faster you go the louder tire noise gets. so yeah for my case, no reason to sweat it out when its wet on the road

i plan to change my good year eagle 185/55/r16 into continental CPC2 195/50/r16..any comment?

if can avoid CPC

I wan change tyre soon, any suggestion for 195/50/16 or 205/5016?

need some advise... driving a wira se. stock rim was 16inch but somehow the previous owner changed to 15 inch rim with 195/50/15 a drive. now after 3 years driving thinking for a change. any suggestion for tyres with budget of 1k and have a more quiter driving? tq

so much to go through all 35 pages so I just asking here.  with budget RM250/pc what brand and model recommended for 205/50/16? Prefer good wet grip and for spirited driving. Don't care about noise. I just want a tyre that good for wet, high speed and can last at least 40,000km.
