then just use the built in hotspot sharing in your phone, your Iconia should be able to detect the hotspot without problem

i like to categorize android phones hotspot in 3 categories
1) built in hotspot (infrastructure mode, most of the time) 2) 3rd party hotspot (can be either infrastructure or ad-hoc mode , dependent on phone/kernel) 3) no hotspot capability type 1 : will work with every wifi equipment u have ie, pc, laptop, pda, pad, tab bla bla bla .. u get the idea, its the same as your home wifi router type 2 : if infrastructure , then same like type 1. If ad-hoc , only peripherals that supports ad-hoc connection can connect to the phone which EXCLUDE all android phones/tablet (by default), pc , ipads and notebooks will mostly connects fine .. |
