Hi all, just curious, saw lot of different websites, some state the A500 is 16GB, some is 32GB, is the SenHeng selling one is 32GB?
also, the SenHeng 2 years warranty, is it hardware warranty or service warranty (service warranty mean you send the tab to check for problem in 2nd year, free labour exclude part cost)?

Hi there,
The one that I bought from SenQ / Seng Heng was 32GB version. I think mostly 32GB. Regarding the warranty, I'm not sure the 2 yr warranty including parts and labor after 1 yr std Acer warranty. Maybe someone from the forum can clarify this thing
*
I see, do you check the receipt, does it mention 2 years warranty, also the terms in small or back, mention anything 2nd warranty?

great case, searched ebay, can find as cheap as RM 60 (case) [ops, its bidding] + RM 60 (delivery).

hm.. maybe wait a bit longer, either local store have or more 3th party case.

search "Acer Iconia Case" to find some cheaper OEM one...

ya, the case look good, might get one if cannot find the original Acer one, the original one should be thinner which not causing the touchscreen too deep from the case,
and more drop proof with its extended blade-like plastic edges.

Hi Benny, please do review the case, ty.

another important notes for the 139.04:
"If you removed/renamed any default apps when you were rooted, it will fail. Updates check for a stock system and root (or notrooted) doesn't matter. In fact, I updated my rooted system this morning, and then rerooted with Gingerbreak - no probs.

You must restore the apps."

click the "[Post count information]" under your post count:

"Frequently Asked Questions
Why isn't my post count increasing even I posted in forums that are not listed in the list?
If the forum you post falls under sub-forum of the listed forums, post counts will not increase. Example of these sub forums are like CPU & Motherboards under Garage Sales."

forum bugs that the programmer not likely to fix. sub-forum post not counted as post, haha

Anyone can confirm Facebook games performance. Still stuck between this and asus.. Both same price..
*
i just created a facebook account and test the game, i try the Jewel Bliz and Army, the flash will load up and able to start play, but the browser start to lag more than 50%, few problems occurred also, the games is not touch optimise, sometimes fast clicks become double click and causes zooming, the Army screen merely fit the 10.1 screen, and for a 10.1 screen, the items become too tiny to click with finger.

I do not think the facebook games is good for any of current tablet for the flash speed, screen and user interface. And the Android, Tegra etc market will have more fun games to play with. Unless you intend to upgrade the facebook games level/social.

someone posted a very easy way enable download foreign limited to US app:

Here's how I did mine (root and market enabler is required):
1. Closed the Market App and cleared the Cache

2. Deleted my Google Account from the Tablet (I have other Google accounts synced, I also removed them)

3. I executed Market Enabler and chose T-Mobile (Verizon should probably work too)

4. Open the Market and a prompt for Google Account Login should show up. Put your Google account again.

5. Market should now classify you as a T-Mobile User and you can access apps that were U.S. only before.

Login the market.android.com from desktop, the "Carrier" for my A500 become "T-Mobile" .

Reply from Sygic's employee:

(Jozef, an employee of Sygic, replied to This items cannot be installed in the device's country, a problem about Sygic. )

Hi,

as your device is running on Android 3.0, it shouldn't be possible to install Sygic GPS navigation yet. After next update, that will be available in next days, you should be able to see and install the application.

Wohoo, look like the blocked bottom button will be fixed for fully Android 3.0 compatible soon.
