The country limitation can be overcome. Follow these steps.

1) Root the device.(Don't ask how to do it..google)
2) Install Market enabler
3) disable the location and security settings (uncheck all three)
4) under the application setting, go to manage application and then look for Market. Under market, force stop and clear all data.
5) Setup US VPN account(if you dont know...thn Google) and then create a new google account through this VPN. DO NOT use the existing one.
6) Run Market enabler and use one of the us carriers settings
7) Log in to the market using this new account. Run Market and it should work now

BTW for those of you who are waiting for Asus Transformer because of the IPS panel, you would be disappointed. I have both and honestly, the screen is slightly better on my Iconia. The edges are better. The IPS panel is not like the IPad at all. I think its a low quality one. Thats what I've been reading about on the net. I don't know how to explain but believe me Iconia is better. Also in terms of speed and performance, Iconia is still way better than Xoom and Transformer. The Hnoeycomb feels like its faster on it. Just my $0.02.

I've tried the Flash games in FB and they were just fine. No noticeable lag whatsoever. Also the 3.1 update is coming soon, so for those of you who feel that there is a lag although i havent noticed any, the update should fix the "lag".

Dude I don't know why people don't get this. A-GPS = GPS + data network assistance. This is to get better service in case of lost/weak signal. I hope this helps. XOOM, ICONIA A500 and TRANSFORMER have GPS. Some of the china models do to, the ones i know of are flytouch 3 and also the new ZTE something. Its sold in lelong if you wanna have a look. Hey guys. I'm posting a GPS fix work around for those whose GPS doesn't work or takes forever to lock the location. I got this work around from xda-developers forum. It worked for me. Location locked within a minute. OK so what you need is an app called GPS status & toolbox. You have to get the paid one because the tool/option needed is not included in the free version or in the alternative get any app that allows you to clear you GPS cache. Once you have downloaded and installed gps status app, run it. Then go to option and choose tools. Select the a-GPS option and clear the GPS cache. Thn let it search fo satelite. The first time it will long but once you get a fix satelite, the rest will fine and fast. Just fyi the app is not available for malaysia yet so think outside the box on how to get it. I'm not supporting piracy but if there is no other option then for the time being do what u need. Btw I paid for the app because my market works just fine with the work around I showed before. Al the best and have fun with you super sized 10" GPS. Hahaha.

P.s. sygic works fine but only in town. Rural areas not so much. Get it while its super cheap. I think its about RM70 or maybe less. I don't remember how much I bought it for.

The android tab is 1599 evrywhere. There was a promotional price of 1499 at senq but I think it ended. To be sure do call and ask. Although some lowyat shop are selling it at 1550. The one you mentioned for 1699 with the dock is w500 and its windows 7 and not android. Hope this helped.
