GPU performance, basically;

ATI HD5650 = Nvidia GT525M > AMD HD6470 = Nvidia GT520M > AMD HD6370

Not sure whether the models are exactly the same or not.. but so far there's some users saying that there's some weird sounds when volume is maxed  nod.gif
You can try to PM the users in this thread: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1905805

Thank you very much.
and umm.. i would like to ask if i'm buying HP laptop in malaysia, do i able to customize the laptop on my own without voiding the warranty? Because i'm actually from Indonesia and the HP they sold here is that they put a warranty sticker at the bottom and when the sticker is ripped your warranty is void too. is this the same in Malaysia?

Not really familiar with HP models, but we don't usually get this kind of issues here... still, just to be safe, perhaps you should ask the users  laugh.gif

HP Pavilion DV4-3023TX (Indonesian model)

photos coming soon tongue.gif

1. So far i haven't experience any issues with this laptop. The laptop performance is amazing (based on my opinion icon_rolleyes.gif )

2. I've tried watching Bluray "Michael Jackson - This Is It" movie.. i've tried using the Intel HD graphic (works perfectly well, no lag) and the ATI Radeon 6750 (works well too, no lag)

3. battery having quite long life.. try using power saving with 50% brightness it can stays up to 4 hours 30 minutes.. maybe if using 0%-10% brightness can go up to 5hours++

4. Haven't try playing games.. haven't install any..

5. USB3.0 - haven't try. i don't have any usb3.0 devices. haha. but we can use usb2.0 device in there. the performance is pretty good.

6. Laptop webcam is good

7. No heat issues during installing software / updating windows / watching movies.. haven't try gaming

8. overall the laptop is good with the price tag quite cheap from what i think.. thumbup.gif

go for disk management,

the diskpart is cli thingy, most user would prefer a gui instead

here's some link

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2674-...create-new.html
ahhh... i've done that earlier but the problem is my hdd has 580GB free space.. so i'm planning to make it 120GB and 460GB but during the process i can only split it even to 290GB each.. cant shrink the volume anymore.. because i don't really need that much hdd space in the main drive C:

maybe you can try 3rd party software such as easeus partition manager?

http://www.partition-tool.com/download.htm

i love to recommend you to use gparted but then
it is quite tedious

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vis...ista-partition/
*
looks like gparted has some problem with it. looks scary for me. which one is better? using these software we don't need to format the hdd rite?? scared of losing my data. rclxub.gif

no need to format, gparted is okay though, even though originally use it for linux distro, but imo one of most flexible app for disk management
try using the easeus first.

refer to some tutorial or video if u afraid
done using easeus.. thanks for the suggestion though.. and i just found out that using basic disk we can only have max 4 partition, need to convert mine to dynamic.. no other choices.. biggrin.gif though i'm not clear what's the difference in basic disk vs dynamic disk.. tongue.gif

i'm not sure why but maybe it's because my friend's acer having problem. She bought it in Singapore few years ago, then the display won't show anything, try to service in Indonesia (we're Indonesian) they say it can't be repair anymore without saying what's the problem is (sucks!). She just need a laptop to use for her work now.

Dell XPS 15, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT540M + upgrade to Full HD + upgrade to 8GB RAM + extend to 3 years warranty
Or
MBP 15
Or
Dell XPS 15z, i7-2620M + Nvidia GT525m + 8GB RAM + Full HD + extend to 3 years warranty

My vote goes to Dell XPS 15/ MBP 15  nod.gif
