QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 18 2011, 10:45 AM) Whether the performance differences are big or not depends on what programs you use Asus N43Jm is no more Asus A43Sv and N43SL (need to top up at least RM100 for better quality and features) are pretty much the best for your price range wahhh. N43SL nice design factor lah bos. I likeeee. Top up rm100 means it rm2499. Ok. This is something good. Thx tailou!

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 18 2011, 06:24 PM) The RRP price for the N43SL is RM2599, but after bargain, you should be able to hit close to RM2.5k I think the design is very good too boss, i did some gugeling. Found out there were 2 near same but different model. N43SL and N53SV. What's the differences and which one should i choose eh? Price is same nia. btw, can this one play starcraft2 smoothly? hehehe. Terima kasih bossssss.

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 19 2011, 07:43 AM) There are 2 versions of N53Sv, but I think you're referring to the one with i5-2410M... The only differences are the size, keypad availability (on the N53Sv), USB3.0 (on the N43SL iinm)... So it depends on whether you want a larger screen size, or portability so the difference is just usb 3.0 and screen size? I think 15.6 is very puas hati lah. You think? Btw, starcraft 2 can run smoothly on N53SV kah?

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 19 2011, 12:37 PM) Yeap, Starcraft2 will run smoothly (depending on configurations) 15.6" are quite large, so if you're moving about alot, don't buy it lol... I used to own a 2.7kg 15.6" Qosmio F60 as well, regretted and sold it off because of the size For me, definitely the N43SL you sold it off? Waaah. lelong.com.my/asus-n43sl-v1g-vx064v-w7hp-i5-2410m-4g-640g-nv-gt-540-1g-6-cell-4400-84155919-2011-05-Sale-P.htm lelong.com.my/asus-n53sv-sx255v-w7hp-silver-i5-2410-4gb-ddr3-640gb-gt540-1gb-6-82189059-2011-04-Sale-P.htm it says they both weight the same 2.4 kg with battery. Arghhhhhh. So hard to choose which one to buy. If my uncle is tony fernandes, i would definitely buy both.

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 19 2011, 01:34 PM) Do take note that weight is usually not a problem for us guys, its the size... being big and chunky, its very easy to accidentally knock the laptop and butthurt lol. Ahahha. Asus web says that both N43SL and N53SV have usb 3.0 N53SV have full hd. Noticeable difference with N43SL?? Hard to choose lah right now. Thinking of buying it this weekend.

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 19 2011, 01:47 PM) The N53Sv with USB3.0 and probably Full HD is a different model which costs RM3.2k... The one you're referring to (RM2.5k) doesn't have those features iirc Oh ya, since both laptops offer the same screen resolution (1366x768), I still prefer the 14" because of the DPI difference, images looks better.. But then its a personal preference ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Now i know. hahahaha. 14 produce better images? Dpi difference is noticeable? Can you wrap up reasons why i should buy 14 compared to 15? From your personal opinion please. Thank you boss u really helpful lah. This post has been edited by adibyusoff: May 19 2011, 01:58 PM

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 23 2011, 03:02 PM) I think the shop ppl recommended you the Dell Inspiron 15R. Yes it has a quad core processor, but the GPU is not that good... And its extremely glossy lol Personally I think both the Asus N43SL and N53Sv are better than the 15R, better build, better GPU and better speakers n53sv have problem with the keyboard? room between numpad and qwerty? plus, the promoter also said that forum people cannot be trusted. create multiple account, biased, prejudice, etc. wth

QUOTE(pandera999 @ May 23 2011, 03:21 PM) dafak dafak is the word Added on May 23, 2011, 3:35 pmQUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 23 2011, 03:16 PM) Yeah, the N53Sv/Sn suffers from flexes due to the longer length... the flexes are less apparent on the N43... personally I've tried the keyboard and I have to say I like it, yes it might take some time to get used to but its good The Inspiron 15r, on the other hand, suffers from spongy keyboard buttons lol... so its your pick at the end of the day so about the keyboard on n53sv, the tight space actually doesn't give problemlah? bit worried actually This post has been edited by adibyusoff: May 23 2011, 03:35 PM
