gpu wise, gt540m > gt525m > intel hd3000

asus comes with 2 year international warranty but doesn't comes with optimus tech
for dell, you gonna need to fork out some money to extend the warranty but the after sales service is good.

maybe you can find more information by reading the review from the net.

usually how much do we need to fork out to extend the warranty? so dell > asus > acer is it?

Dell warranty can cost from RM2xx to RM8xx depending model.
Acer is RM198 for notebook under RM2500, RM298 for above.

Cannot judge like this, but for warranty, Dell is better in this case.

These 2 are the best at the moment:
Toshiba (14")
Satellite L645-1169/70/71, i5-480M + ATI HD5650@RM2299, 2nd & 3rd year warranty
Satellite L745-1050X, i3-2310 + Nvidia GT525M@RM1999, 2nd & 3rd year warranty

Others:
Dell Inspiron 14, i3-2310M + AMD HD6470@RM1899
Dell Inspiron 14, i5-2410M + Intel HD3000@RM1999
Asus A43Sj, i3-2310M + Nvidia GT520M@RM2099[2.44kg], Colors:Red/Blue/Pink/Green/Gold/Black
HP Pavilion G4, i3-2310M + AMD HD6470@RM1999
Lenovo G470, i5-2410M + Intel HD3000@RM1999

*If work is more important, go for the ones with i5-2410M, if game is more important, then go for the non-Intel HD3000 ones  rclxms.gif

Good day all, I got an offer of Lenovo G470 i5-2410M + ATI 6370M for RM1999, Lenovo G470 i5-2410M + Intel HD 3000 for RM1799, and Lenovo G470 B940 + Intel HD for RM1419. Which 1 I should go and can anyone describe the different between it.

What is your usage?
Basically:
CPU: i5-2410M > B940
GPU: AMD HD6370 > Intel HD 3000 > Intel HD laugh.gif

If strictly these 3 models, then: Lenovo G470 i5-2410M + ATI 6370M for RM1999 rclxms.gif
ATI changed name to AMD

If both are important, then go for the one with i5-2410m and AMD HD6370 lo haha laugh.gif (or Acer Aspire 4750G, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT 520@RM2199[2.3kg], 3 years local limited warranty)

if its me, I'd go for either one of these, especially if you're more into gaming:
Toshiba Satellite L645-1169/70/71, i5-480M + ATI HD5650@RM2299, 2nd & 3rd year warranty
Toshiba Satellite L745-1050X, i3-2310 + Nvidia GT525M@RM1999, 2nd & 3rd year warranty

*recommend this because of the free 3 years warranty
