So I'm between 4830TG, A41Sv and HP Pavilion DV4 then.

At this point I'm thinking that looks are the most important thing in my decision, since they are pretty much the same, yes?

DV4 has better GPU though..

U mean asus? I wish to do some gaming. Most prolly be using it like a desktop as it will stay in my room most of the time since its heavy.i have an acer ultraportable for portable usage so i need somethg powerful at home.

mine one seems lighter.. less than 2kg if xmistaken but not i3 processor la..

Macs can last you a long time, but depending on how adaptive the users are and also user's demand
Macs nowadays have pretty much everything Windows have for your work and stuff
