Mostly on movie, probably will connect it with LcD. Others is more on surfing, assignments(mircosoft), maybe some flash games(from facebook.. always lag one tho. due to eat up alot of memories) and some games(not really on games that need high graphic anyway)

If work is more important -> ThinkPad Edge 11
If game is more important -> HP DM1z

Don't think there's anyone apart from you bro  laugh.gif
If you really need one, just get one that is currently available... or if you can find someone kind enough to borrow you their secondary laptop, that would be good as well  nod.gif

The fact that I'm not really sure if I'm gonna need it right away or not hmm.gif
Of course getting one now to prepare for college is good, but I'm afraid I might regret if Llano is MUCH more better than how AMD compared it to Intel's SB
QUOTE(AlexLai @ May 12 2011, 12:24 PM)
At first was thinking of getting an A42Jr, but it was EOLed and replaced with the A42JK which had a weaker GPU, so I waited. When I almost given up hope and decided to get the JK, the JV showed up but it was retailing for RM3.3k. So I waited a bit more for PC Fair and compared pricing from the other forumites and found out that they were throwing price for that model so decided to get it before stock habis. biggrin.gif
In the end, I picked up the last unit in LYP. laugh.gif

Desperation magician!
I guess I'll give it some time till some news comes out for the Llano-based laptops

I read/saw a lot of reviews stating that the dm1z got an annoying fan issue hmm.gif

@Koki, you're right about the noisiness of the Dm1z, which shouldn't be there on a subnotebook....

If N43SL has Nvidia Optimus, then it'll probably have better battery life...
We're not too sure whether it has it or not...
We're not too sure about the battery capacity as well due to the confusing details in brochures...
But I think A series has higher battery capacity, in which it'll offer more battery life
Updated: The N43SL says it probably have Nvidia Optimus since 2 GPUs are detected
