Racquet made of cement. The cement technology + racquet weight 2049529035802938509 gram ftw! *Trolling in the deep*

hi sifus,

can pls gv some adv.
m comparing sw37 & bs09. i play doubles, weak but gd def.
currently using mp45 but sometimes feel to heavy.

also juz want to ask, wats the difference between a thin & thicker string? does thinner string generate more power or thicker?

thks.
also can recommend a reliable seller fm lowyat garare?
*
Theoretically,
SW37 should be better in smash/attk because of the AERODYNAMIC technology,
BS09 should be better in defense/fast because of the SWORD technology.

I can't say which is better however I own a sw37 and it is a very good racquet ^^

sword technology more aerodynamic than SW aerodynamic frame. but paint chips much more easily.

SW got e-titanium, supposedly more power in smashes. considering that ti10, fz forza ti550, li ning tp series rackets all have strong smashes, i am inclined to believe that there is some truth to it. faster frame recovery upon hitting or something. and inner waves technology, lengthens the string by a bit so the trampoline effect is stronger, hence more power. my gosen power cavity also does the same thing, the grommet at 3 and 6 o clock part of the frame is double grommet, the frame itself doesnt support the grommet on the inside of the frame.

but other brands put their strings around the frame, no grommets. carlton prototype for example.
dont really care much though nowadays. as long as it feels nice i just use. even though my wish nano force is cheap ass and i dont even know what fancy named technology it uses, its a nice racket to use. laugh.gif

Ultimately... it mostly depends on technique and footworks. Then racquet + string...
If technique not right, no matter good the racquet is also won't produce a good smash like what happened to me last time blush.gif

Guys, lets say u had a bad stringing problem on your racket due to wrong tension, etc etc, will you guys just remove the string eventho you just played it for 2-3 games. .

Experience once... Most advise me to just play with it as it will get abit loosen up in future.

Dear Victor BS11 users, what do u all think about BS11 stiffness?
I initially have a plan on getting a BS11 but once tried it out I find its stiffness is more like medium flex than its rated slightly stiff(more or less like my sw37). So for a second thought I wanna tried out the stiffer BS10 but none of my friend own it and I even try my luck have a look at the some badminton shop unfortunately they dont have it as well .

Now I am looking at BS LYD hoping that it is stiffer than BS11 even though both are rated as slightly stiff... else im going for the BS10 or Ti-10 biggrin.gif.
Anyway, does any1 have any idea how similar is BS10 to Ti-10 3rd gen Ltd or non-ltd?

I am one. It is medium flex, personally I do not feel it is stiff at all (considered flex shaft). And lastly, don't judge a racket via its specs, the real way to test a suitable racket is to try it in the court instead of viewing the specifications of it, just my two cents. Cheers! smile.gif
*
Exactly, thats why I went to the shop and test the stiffness of the racquet... Feels the same as my sw37 which is medium flex...
Apart from that, I just found something very confusing that Victor taiwan website and Intl website states the spec for BS11 differently.

BS11 Intl:
stiff o0ooo flex
HH oo0oo HL

BS11 Taiwan:
stiff ooo0o flex
HH oo0oo HL

coincidentally , the 1 I tried out in the shop was a Taiwan version... So im now kinda confuse whether BS11 Malaysia version will be stiffer or it is jsut the same(medium flex). hmm.gif hmm.gif

Hmm... then I probably will go for BS LYD/BS10/Ti-10
Any idea if BS LYD will be stiffer than BS11?

Btw, where u restrung and play?

Uh guys,

Need some help here. Before I strung and grip my sw37 3UG2 I dint get the dry weight.
The wet weight is around 97-100g strung with BG66ultimax @26lb + yonex super grap.
Can some1 with rich experience help me roughly guess the dry weight of my sw37 please?

Thanks in advance biggrin.gif

ti-10 stiffer than ns9900? now only got ti-10 3rd series right? is it good enuf to generate powerful smash from backcourt? I mean not as powerful as those head heavy la, but can kill also or set up for a net kill.. but i heard ti-10 vibrate more compare to ns9900, meaning it is less forgiving to ur arms ><
*
ti-10 definitely not stiffer than ns9900 and I thought thats what u asked for which is less stiff but headlight. Now still got 1st gen if u willing to pay for it buying 2nd hand but I believe alot ppl make it as sentimental collection istead of using it. I personally did not use ti-10 but according to my more experience brother, ti-10 can actually still produce a very powerful smash even though it is headlight if use it correctly. The number of past professional players have used it proves everything ahaha! Lastly I belive ti-10 is a more forgiving racquet than ns9900. Correct me if im wrong biggrin.gif

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Mar 1 2012, 06:11 PM)
true if pro player good enuf, then it is good for us smile.gif i wanna ask, when i use stiff racket, or i keep mishit, then i feel my biceps there will pain when i try to press it.. may i know what is this?
*
Mishit generally timing problem while different stiffness racquet got different timing 1. What racquet did u use before ns9900?
Biceps pain perhaps because of wrong technique or long playing hours and did not take proper rest? but I assume u should have no problem in technique since u are already a ns9900 user biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
