prior to delivery i read many articles online, in magazines, leaflets about breastfeeding.

it just so happens my milk didn't come in until the 4th day, maybe since i was induced and delivered 2 weeks earlier than my due date.
and when it did come, my baby did and was able to latch on and i directly breastfeed him for a whole week, but he was also fed expressed breast milk in the bottle since some people thought he wasn't getting enough milk from me. and he was fine for that whole week, switching between bottle and boob, until one day he just got lazy and prefer the bottle.
and again through educating myself, i discovered this is called nipple preference.
so now he's still getting breast milk only it's given to him through a bottle.
i don't feel it's a trouble to pump, i'm given 3 months leave, so i have ample time to build my stock.
and it's also quite convenient that other family members, not just me, can feed him too.
