I do not like to call people for that reason.  I normally will e-mail someone.  However if I cannot reach someone by phone, I will e-mail the person instead.

No, I don't like to solve problems. When the maths becomes partial differential equations, or some series, it's too abstract and takes too long for me to solve. I could take one day to one week to solve an engineering course problem in the past. I think the good EE is expected to do it within the hour. I guess a good EE must be a Mensa member.

I don't like to do things where I don't receive feedback about my work. Such as I don't know how long I'll take to solve my engineering problem because I don't know whether I'm correctly working towards the answer. I don't like to feel lost, like I didn't know what the right answer was, and how to derive it. I don't like that I was expected to be independent in Uni, because how independent was I expected to be? If I had to figure out myself how solve my textbook problems, then I might as well not go to Uni, might as well have taken a distance learning degree course.

I'm really an unskilled EE. I'm trying to improve my skills by learning my course on my own time, all over again. But I still feel lost, just like in the past.
