A little description.

My opinion : they finally made it understandable for people who are new to .hack series. The formula of putting 3 high school girls playing MMORPG with naivety works i guess. And the quality increased greatly compared to the previous installment, especially game-based dotHack series(nothing good usually comes out from game reference).

Noteable staffs : Hanazawa Kana, Miyuki Sawashiro.

why the characters always look similar......THE WORLD character model designers no inspiration ka? Looks like Balmung, Kite and the other girl

It is after all an online game that they are playing.
Same design for same "job" that they are playing.

Exactly like what vkcy mentioned, lol.
It's to differentiate their classes.

The ending for this show is quite depressing and it was a little... meh.

Combination of Kite + Miku? The last installment of the dotHack series is available on PSP, title .hack Link... but the rating is low and lots of negative feedback.

i played it, i won't say it's the best game, but i like how the way it links all segments of the dot hackers into one. Going to each story one by one is nostalgic... the battle system is nice for a while, then gets boring after repeats... story is not bad not very epic though as the other franchises.

I love all the .hack game.
The first PS2, kite as main character and the world 2, haseiyo i think.
All of it is very nice.
But with so many episode, it slowly gets boring.
Kite story have like 4episode and haseiyo 3episode.
And haseiyo's story is really confusing..

Wonder will it be nice to play if there is a real world online game.
