Dear Bro, your nightmare has just begun. You will get into more trouble throughout your usage of the card, and even worst when cancellation of the card.
I held few cards of several banks inclusive HLB Mastercard (with a Touch n go Zing card). Mid of 2011, I received a letter from HLB which asked me to update my data within a period, otherwise they will reduce my credit limit because their record showed that I could only hold not more than 2 cards.
My HLB card expired on April 2012 and I wished to cancel it before the expiry date to avoid the GST. Therefore I planned to cancel the Zing Card on October 2011 and the Mastercard around January or February 2012.....
The progress of the cancellations are as below:-
To cancel the Zing Card: I have called the customer service (03-76268899) for not less than 8 times, visited HLB Subang Jaya SS19 Branch for 6 times, visited Touch n Go Office at Taman Desa once.... and cancellation could only be done on March 2012 (it took 6 MONTHS).
To cancel the Mastercard: I have submitted a cancellation letter + destroyed card + filled up a cancellation form in HLB Taipan Branch on April 2012, called the customer service for not less than 6 times, visited HLB Taipan Branch twice, written in a complain thru their website once, and until TODAY (3 July 2012) this matter is still yet to be settled...
What is their conspiracy?
